We report on the search for the rare decay which is of interest to study C violation in the electromagnetic interaction which would indicate contributions from physics beyond the Standard Model, since the allowed decay via a two-photon intermediate state is strongly suppressed. The experiment has been performed using the WASA-at-COSY installation, located at the COSY accelerator of the Forschungszentrum Jülich, Germany. In total events of the reaction have been recorded at an excess energy of . Based on this data set the C parity violating decay via a single-photon intermediate state has been searched for, resulting in new upper limits of and (), respectively.

which is of interest to study C violation in the electromagnetic interaction which would indicate contributions from physics beyond the Standard Model, since the allowed decay via a two-photon intermediate state is strongly suppressed. The experiment has been performed using the WASA-at-COSY installation, located at the COSY accelerator of the Forschungszentrum J\u00fclich, Germany. In total <math><mn>3</mn><mo>\u00d7</mo><msup><mrow><mn>10</mn></mrow><mrow><mn>7</mn></mrow></msup></math> events of the reaction <math><mtext>p</mtext><mtext>d</mtext><msup><mrow><mo>\u2192</mo></mrow><mrow><mn>3</mn></mrow></msup><mtext>He</mtext><mi>\u03b7</mi></math> have been recorded at an excess energy of <math><mi>Q</mi><mo>=</mo><mn>59.8</mn><mspace width=\"0.25em\"></mspace><mtext>MeV</mtext></math>.
