Differential cross sections have been extracted from exclusive and kinematically complete high-statistics measurements of quasifree polarized scattering performed in the energy region of the dibaryon resonance covering the range of beam energies GeV ( GeV). The experiment was carried out with the WASA-at-COSY setup having a polarized deuteron beam impinged on the hydrogen pellet target and utilizing the quasifree process . In this way the differential cross section was measured over a large angular range. The obtained angular distributions complement the corresponding analyzing power measurements published previously. A SAID partial-wave analysis incorporating the new data strengthens the finding of a resonance pole in the coupled waves.

"value": "Differential cross sections have been extracted from exclusive and kinematically complete high-statistics measurements of quasifree polarized <math><mrow><mover><mi>n</mi><mo>\u20d7</mo></mover><mi>p</mi></mrow></math> scattering performed in the energy region of the <math><mrow><msup><mi>d</mi><mo>*</mo></msup><mrow><mo>(</mo><mn>2380</mn><mo>)</mo></mrow></mrow></math> dibaryon resonance covering the range of beam energies <math><mrow><msub><mi>T</mi><mi>n</mi></msub><mo>=</mo><mn>0.98</mn><mo>\u2212</mo><mn>1.29</mn></mrow></math> GeV (<math><mrow><msqrt><mi>s</mi></msqrt><mo>=</mo><mn>2.32</mn><mo>\u2212</mo><mn>2.44</mn></mrow></math> GeV). The experiment was carried out with the WASA-at-COSY setup having a polarized deuteron beam impinged on the hydrogen pellet target and utilizing the quasifree process <math><mrow><mi>d</mi><mi>p</mi><mo>\u2192</mo><mi>n</mi><mi>p</mi><mo>+</mo><msub><mi>p</mi><mi>spectator</mi></msub></mrow></math>. In this way the <math><mrow><mi>n</mi><mi>p</mi></mrow></math> differential cross section <math><mrow><mi>\u03c3</mi><mo>(</mo><mi>\u0398</mi><mo>)</mo></mrow></math> was measured over a large angular range. The obtained angular distributions complement the corresponding analyzing power <math><mrow><msub><mi>A</mi><mi>y</mi></msub><mrow><mo>(</mo><mi>\u0398</mi><mo>)</mo></mrow></mrow></math> measurements published previously. A SAID partial-wave analysis incorporating the new data strengthens the finding of a resonance pole in the coupled <math><mrow><mmultiscripts><mi>D</mi><mn>3</mn><none></none><mprescripts></mprescripts><none></none><mn>3</mn></mmultiscripts><mtext>\u2212</mtext><mmultiscripts><mi>G</mi><mn>3</mn><none></none><mprescripts></mprescripts><none></none><mn>3</mn></mmultiscripts></mrow></math> waves."
