Based on a sample of $2.7\times10^{9}$ $\psi(3686)$ events collected by the BESIII detector operating at the BEPCII collider, the decay $\psi(3686)\to\gamma\chi_{cJ}, \chi_{cJ}\to\eta\eta\eta^{\prime}$ is analyzed. The decay modes $\chi_{c1}$ and $\chi_{c2}\to\eta\eta\eta^{\prime}$ are observed for the first time, and their corresponding branching fractions are determined to be ${\cal{B}}(\chi_{c1}\to\eta\eta\eta^{\prime}) = $ $ (1.40\, \pm 0.13\, (\text{stat.}) \pm 0.09\, (\text{sys.})) \times 10^{-4}$ and ${\cal{B}}(\chi_{c2}\to\eta\eta\eta^{\prime}) = (4.18\, \pm 0.84\, (\text{stat.}) \pm 0.48\, (\text{sys.})) \times 10^{-5}$ . An upper limit on the branching fraction of $\chi_{c0}\to\eta\eta\eta^{\prime}$ is set as $2.59 \times 10^{-5}$ at a 90% confidence level (CL). A partial wave analysis (PWA) of the decay $\chi_{c1}\to\eta\eta\eta^{\prime}$ is performed to search for the $1^{-+}$ exotic state $\eta_1(1855)$ . The PWA result indicates that the structure in the $\eta\eta^{\prime}$ mass spectrum is attributed to $f_0(1500)$ , while in the $\eta\eta$ mass spectrum, it is attributed to the $0^{++}$ phase space. The upper limit of ${\cal{B}}(\chi_{c1}\to\eta_{1}(1855)\eta) \cdot {\cal{B}}(\eta_{1}(1855)\to\eta\eta^{\prime}) \lt $ $ 9.79 \times 10^{-5}$ is set based on the PWA at 90% CL.

In this work, we study the contribution of invisible light particles to <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mrow><msub><mrow><mi mathvariant="normal">Λ</mi></mrow><mrow><mi>b</mi></mrow></msub><mo stretchy="false">→</mo><mi mathvariant="normal">Λ</mi><msub><mrow><mi>E</mi></mrow><mrow><mi>miss</mi></mrow></msub></mrow></math>, particularly the three-body decays <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mrow><msub><mrow><mi mathvariant="normal">Λ</mi></mrow><mrow><mi>b</mi></mrow></msub><mo stretchy="false">→</mo><mi mathvariant="normal">Λ</mi><mi>ϕ</mi><mover accent="true"><mrow><mi>ϕ</mi></mrow><mrow><mo stretchy="false">¯</mo></mrow></mover></mrow></math> and <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><msub><mi mathvariant="normal">Λ</mi><mi>b</mi></msub><mo stretchy="false">→</mo><mi mathvariant="normal">Λ</mi><mi>ψ</mi><mover accent="true"><mi>ψ</mi><mo stretchy="false">¯</mo></mover></math>. We study the three-body decays <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><msub><mi mathvariant="normal">Λ</mi><mi>b</mi></msub><mo stretchy="false">→</mo><msup><mi>D</mi><mo>+</mo></msup><msup><mi>D</mi><mo>−</mo></msup><mi mathvariant="normal">Λ</mi><mo>,</mo><msup><mi>D</mi><mn>0</mn></msup><msubsup><mi>D</mi><mi>s</mi><mo>−</mo></msubsup><mi>p</mi><mo>,</mo><msubsup><mi>D</mi><mi>s</mi><mo>+</mo></msubsup><msubsup><mi>D</mi><mi>s</mi><mo>−</mo></msubsup><mi mathvariant="normal">Λ</mi></math>, considering both internal and external emission mechanisms that produce various meson-baryon final states. Using a unitarized coupled-channel approach based on the local hidden gauge formalism, we analyze final state interactions in the exotic anticharm systems with strangeness <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mi>S</mi><mo>=</mo><mo>−</mo><mn>1</mn></math> and <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mi>S</mi><mo>=</mo><mo>−</mo><mn>2</mn></math>. Significant threshold enhancements appear in both pseudoscalar and vector meson-baryon channels, indicating strong final state interactions and the possible formation of molecular exotic states below threshold. These features remain stable under variations of model parameters. Our results provide valuable insights into heavy hadron decay dynamics and offer theoretical guidance for future experimental searches of open-charm strange exotic hadrons. These results take into account the effects of the <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><msup><mi>D</mi><mo>+</mo></msup><mi mathvariant="normal">Λ</mi></math> and <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><msup><mi>D</mi><mo>+</mo></msup><msup><mi>D</mi><mo>−</mo></msup></math> interactions, three-body rescattering, possible triangle singularities, parameter uncertainties, and large <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><msub><mi>N</mi><mi>c</mi></msub></math> behavior, making the predictions very reliable.

Within the framework of the next-to-minimal supersymmetric (SUSY) extension of the Standard Model (SM) with a local B-L gauge symmetry (N-B-LSSM), we study lepton flavor violating (LFV) $ \tau\rightarrow e M^+ M^- $ decays: $ \tau \rightarrow e \pi^+\pi^- $ , $ \tau \rightarrow e \pi^+K^- $ , and $ \tau \rightarrow e K^+K^- $ . Based on the latest experimental data, the influence of different sensitive parameters on the branching ratios is considered. It can be seen from the numerical analysis that the main sensitive parameters and LFV sources are non-diagonal elements corresponding to the initial and final leptons. This work can provide a basis for discovering the existence of new physics (NP).

The magnitude of the direct CP asymmetry generated during the weak decay of hadrons is attributed to the weak phase and certain strong phases. The weak phase originates from the CKM matrix, while a strong phase may result from the resonance effect produced by the mixing of vector mesons $ V\left\{\rho^{0}(770),\,\omega(782),\,\phi(1020)\right\} $ to $ \pi^+ \pi^- $ meson pairs. $ \rho^{0}(770) $ can decay directly into $ \pi^+ \pi^- $ meson pairs; both $ \omega(782) $ and $ \phi(1020) $ can also decay into $ \pi^+ \pi^- $ meson pairs, with a small contribution from isospin symmetry breaking. The main contribution for the middle state vector meson $ \rho^{0}(770)-\omega(782)-\phi(1020) $ interference is the mix of $ \rho^{0}(770) $ , $ \omega(782)-\rho^{0}(770) $ , and $ \phi(1020)-\rho^{0}(770) $ . We calculated the CP asymmetry and decay branching ratio for $ \bar{B}^0_{s} \rightarrow \pi^+ \pi^- \pi^0 (\bar K ^{0}) $ within the framework of QCD factorization and compared them with previous studies. We also analyzed the $ \bar{B}^0_{s} \rightarrow \pi^+ \pi^- \eta(\eta^{(')}) $ decay process. The results show that the CP asymmetry of these four decay processes is significantly enhanced, especially for the $ \bar{B}^0_{s} \rightarrow \pi^+ \pi^- \bar K ^{0} $ decay process. Moreover, the decay branching ratio also changes under the resonance effect. These results might provide support for the experimental analysis of the $ \bar B^{0}_s $ meson.

Vector-like quarks (VLQs) feature in new physics models beyond the standard model (SM) to address certain problems it faces. In this study, we investigate the pair production of TeV-scale vector-like $\textit{B}$ quark (VLQ-$\textit{B}$) at the proposed 3 TeV compact linear collider (CLIC) using a simplified effective lagrangian framework. We consider the decay modes of $ B\rightarrow bZ $ and $ B\rightarrow bh $ , coupled with the hadronic decay of $\textit{Z}$ and $\textit{h}$ bosons. The large mass of VLQ-$\textit{B}$ results in highly boosted $\textit{Z}$ or $\textit{h}$ bosons, which tend to form fat-jets. Using detector simulation of the signal and background events, along with jet clustering employing a large radius $\textit{R}$, we conduct signal-background analyses. Exclusion limits at the 95% confidence level and 5 $ \sigma $ discovery prospects are obtained assuming an integrated luminosity of 5 ab$^{−1}$.

We discuss the interplay between dark matter, leptogenesis and a new gauge boson $$Z^\prime $$ in the $$B-L$$ model. A fermion dark matter $$\chi $$ carrying $$U(1)_{B-L}$$ charge is introduced to the model but not coupling with other particles. We consider the Freeze-out and Freeze-in mechanisms, and obtain the correct relic density respectively. We have scanned the feasible parameter space and found that the dark matter direct detection experiments imposed the most stringent constraints on the parameter space. The constraint on the parameter space places a limit on the mass of dark matter with $$m_{\chi } \approx 1/2 M_{Z'}$$ within a narrow region in the case of the Freeze-out scenario, and we can obtain the right baryon asymmetry result in the case of $$m_{\chi }\subset [654$$ GeV, 664 GeV]. For the Freeze-in scenario, we have a much broader parameter space for $$m_{\chi }$$ and $$M_{Z^\prime }$$ but $$g_{BL}$$ is restricted at $$10^{-5}$$ level for $$Q=0.1$$ . In both scenarios, $$g_{BL}-M_{Z^\prime }$$ is limited within a narrow region by the dark matter relic density, direct detection and baryon asymmetry constraints.

In this work, we investigate the radiative decays of the <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><msub><mi mathvariant="normal">Λ</mi><mi>b</mi></msub></math> and <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><msub><mi mathvariant="normal">Ξ</mi><mi>b</mi></msub></math> bottom baryons, which belong to the flavor antitriplet (<math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><msub><mover accent="true"><mn mathvariant="bold">3</mn><mo stretchy="false">¯</mo></mover><mi mathvariant="normal">F</mi></msub></math>), within the constituent quark model formalism. The electromagnetic transitions are calculated from the second shell states to both the ground and <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mi>P</mi></math>-wave final states. These decays may help confirm the existence of certain resonances. Moreover, electromagnetic decay widths provide additional information that can be particularly useful for distinguishing resonances with the same mass and total decay width. This study presents, for the first time, the calculation of electromagnetic decays for <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><msub><mi>D</mi><mi>ρ</mi></msub></math>-wave states, <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mi>ρ</mi><mo>−</mo><mi>λ</mi></math> mixed states, and <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mi>ρ</mi></math>-mode radially excited states. Throughout our calculations, we account for uncertainties arising from both experimental and model-dependent errors.

We improve upon previous explicit estimates of charm rescattering contributions to the decay $$B^0\rightarrow K^0{\bar{\ell }}\ell $$ by including contributions from dipole interactions with the intermediate charm-meson states, and by further investigating the structure of the electromagnetic form factors. Using a model of fundamental meson fields inspired by heavy-hadron chiral perturbation theory, augmented by form factors motivated by theoretical considerations as well as experimental data, we provide a thorough investigation of rescattering contributions induced by intermediate $$D^{(*)}D^{(*)}_s$$ states.
