We use holography to study correlation functions of local operators in maximally supersymmetric Yang-Mills theories arising on the world-volume of D$\textit{p}$-branes in the large-$\textit{N}$ and strong-coupling limit. The relevant supergravity backgrounds obtained from the near-horizon limit of the D$\textit{p}$-branes enjoy a scaling similarity, which leads to an auxiliary AdS space of fractional dimension. This suggests that holographic correlation functions in this setup can be computed by integrating standard CFT correlators over the auxiliary extra dimensions. We apply this prescription to analytically compute two- and three-point correlators of scalar operators. The resulting two-point functions take a familiar CFT form but with shifted conformal dimensions, while the three-point correlators have a much more involved position dependence which we calculate explicitly in terms of a sum of Appell functions.

Correlation functions for non-conformal D$\textit{p}$-brane holography

Nonlinear field equations for the supersymmetric higher-spin gauge theory describing totally symmetric bosonic and fermionic massless fields along with hook-type bosonic fields of all spins in any space-time dimension are presented. One of the novel features of the proposed formalism is that the $\textit{osp}$(1, 2) invariance and factorisation conditions are formulated within the BRST formalism, that greatly simplifies the form of nonlinear HS equations. To match the list of vertices found by Metsaev, higher-spin gauge theory is anticipated to possess an infinite number of independent coupling constants. A conjecture that these coupling constants result from the locality restrictions on the elements of the factorisation ideal is put forward.

As in previous decades, a comprehensive understanding of the intricate internal configuration of hadrons continues to be a central objective within both experimental and theoretical hadron physics. This pursuit plays a pivotal role in advancing our knowledge of quantum chromodynamics (QCD) and critically evaluating the robustness and accuracy of the theoretical models developed to date. Furthermore, deciphering the underlying mechanisms of exotic states, both those currently observed and those anticipated in future experiments, remains a pressing and unresolved challenge. Motivated by this, in the present study, we investigate the electromagnetic properties of the <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mi>D</mi><msub><mover accent="true"><mi>D</mi><mo stretchy="false">¯</mo></mover><mn>1</mn></msub><mo stretchy="false">(</mo><mn>2420</mn><mo stretchy="false">)</mo></math> and <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><msup><mi>D</mi><mo>*</mo></msup><msup><mover accent="true"><mi>D</mi><mo stretchy="false">¯</mo></mover><mo>*</mo></msup><mo stretchy="false">(</mo><mn>2400</mn><mo stretchy="false">)</mo></math> molecular tetraquark states with quantum numbers <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><msup><mi>J</mi><mrow><mi>P</mi><mi>C</mi></mrow></msup><mo>=</mo><msup><mn>1</mn><mrow><mo>−</mo><mo>−</mo></mrow></msup></math>, using the QCD light-cone sum rule method. These states are analyzed within a hadronic molecular framework, where their magnetic and quadrupole moments are computed to probe internal structure and geometric deformation. Our results reveal distinct electromagnetic signatures, with the magnetic moments primarily dominated by light-quark contributions, and the quadrupole moments suggesting an oblate charge distribution. The findings are compared with prior studies assuming compact tetraquark configurations, emphasizing the sensitivity of electromagnetic observables to the underlying hadronic structure. This analysis provides critical insights into the nature of exotic hadrons and contributes to the broader understanding of QCD dynamics in the nonperturbative regime.

We measure the time-integrated <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mi>C</mi><mi>P</mi></math> asymmetry, <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mrow><msub><mrow><mi>A</mi></mrow><mrow><mi>C</mi><mi>P</mi></mrow></msub></mrow></math>, in <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mrow><msup><mrow><mi>D</mi></mrow><mrow><mn>0</mn></mrow></msup><mo stretchy="false">→</mo><msup><mrow><mi>π</mi></mrow><mrow><mn>0</mn></mrow></msup><msup><mrow><mi>π</mi></mrow><mrow><mn>0</mn></mrow></msup></mrow></math> decays reconstructed in <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mrow><msup><mi>e</mi><mo>+</mo></msup><msup><mi>e</mi><mo>−</mo></msup></mrow><mo stretchy="false">→</mo><mrow><mi>c</mi><mover accent="true"><mi>c</mi><mo stretchy="false">¯</mo></mover></mrow></math> events collected by Belle II during 2019–2022. The data corresponds to an integrated luminosity of <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mn>428</mn><mtext> </mtext><mtext> </mtext><msup><mi>fb</mi><mrow><mo>−</mo><mn>1</mn></mrow></msup></math>. The <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mrow><msup><mrow><mi>D</mi></mrow><mrow><mn>0</mn></mrow></msup></mrow></math> decays are required to originate from the flavor-conserving <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><msup><mi>D</mi><mrow><mo>*</mo><mo>+</mo></mrow></msup><mo stretchy="false">→</mo><msup><mi>D</mi><mn>0</mn></msup><msup><mi>π</mi><mo>+</mo></msup></math> decay to determine the charm flavor at production time. Control samples of <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><msup><mi>D</mi><mn>0</mn></msup><mo stretchy="false">→</mo><msup><mi>K</mi><mo>−</mo></msup><msup><mi>π</mi><mo>+</mo></msup></math> decays, with or without an associated pion from a <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><msup><mi>D</mi><mrow><mo>*</mo><mo>+</mo></mrow></msup></math> decay, are used to correct for detection asymmetries. The result, <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><msub><mi>A</mi><mrow><mi>C</mi><mi>P</mi></mrow></msub><mo stretchy="false">(</mo><msup><mi>D</mi><mn>0</mn></msup><mo stretchy="false">→</mo><msup><mi>π</mi><mn>0</mn></msup><msup><mi>π</mi><mn>0</mn></msup><mo stretchy="false">)</mo><mo>=</mo><mo stretchy="false">(</mo><mn>0.30</mn><mo>±</mo><mn>0.72</mn><mo>±</mo><mn>0.20</mn><mo stretchy="false">)</mo><mo>%</mo></math>, where the first uncertainty is statistical and the second systematic, is consistent with <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mi>C</mi><mi>P</mi></math> symmetry.
