In the present work, we perform a combined analysis of the cross sections for $$e^+ e^- \rightarrow K^+ K^-$$ and $$e^+ e^- \rightarrow K_S^0 K_L^0$$ by including the interference between direct coupling process and resonance intermediate process. When setting the isospin factor as a free parameter, we can well reproduce the structures in the cross sections for $$e^+ e^- \rightarrow K^+ K^-$$ and $$e^+ e^- \rightarrow K_S^0 K_L^0,$$ however, the isospin factor deviates with the isospin symmetry conservation predicted value of one. By fixing the isospin factor to be one, we find the cross sections for $$e^+ e^-\rightarrow K^+ K^-$$ can be accurately fitted, while the same model parameters fail to adequately reproduce the observed cross section for the process $$e^+ e^- \rightarrow K_S^0 K_L^0,$$ which indicate that there should be contributions from other vector meson states, such as $$\rho (2150)$$ and $$\omega (2220).$$ The combined analysis with $$\phi (2170),$$ $$\omega (2220)$$ and $$\rho (2150)$$ indicate that the inclusion of $$\rho (2150)$$ can improve the descriptions of the cross sections for $$e^+ e^-\rightarrow K^+ K^-$$ and $$e^+ e^- \rightarrow K_S^0 K_L^0.$$

A combined analysis of $\textit{Y}$(2240) in the $$e^+ e^- \rightarrow K^+ K^-$$ and $$e^+ e^- \rightarrow K_S^0 K_L^0$$ processes

To resolve ambiguities from multiple solutions in experimental measurements, we construct a <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><msup><mi>χ</mi><mn>2</mn></msup></math> function incorporating constraints such as isospin conservation and amplitude relations. By minimizing the global <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><msup><mi>χ</mi><mn>2</mn></msup></math>, we identify physical solutions for seven hidden-charm decay channels of <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mi>Y</mi><mo stretchy="false">(</mo><mn>4230</mn><mo stretchy="false">)</mo></math>. Crucially, the physical solution for <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mi>Y</mi><mo stretchy="false">(</mo><mn>4230</mn><mo stretchy="false">)</mo><mo stretchy="false">→</mo><msup><mi>π</mi><mo>+</mo></msup><msup><mi>π</mi><mo>−</mo></msup><mi>J</mi><mo>/</mo><mi>ψ</mi></math> corresponds to the largest among four experimental solutions, potentially modifying inputs for theoretical calculations. Additionally, we predict <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><msub><mi mathvariant="normal">Γ</mi><mrow><mi>e</mi><mi>e</mi></mrow></msub><mi mathvariant="script">B</mi><mo stretchy="false">(</mo><mi>Y</mi><mo stretchy="false">(</mo><mn>4230</mn><mo stretchy="false">)</mo><mo stretchy="false">→</mo><msup><mi>π</mi><mo>+</mo></msup><msup><mi>π</mi><mo>−</mo></msup><msup><mi>ψ</mi><mo>′</mo></msup><mo stretchy="false">)</mo></math> based on our results, acknowledging substantial uncertainties in current measurements.

We investigate the electromagnetic properties of the axial-vector molecular states <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><msup><mi>D</mi><mo>*</mo></msup><mi>K</mi></math>, <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mi>D</mi><msup><mi>K</mi><mo>*</mo></msup></math>, <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><msup><mi>B</mi><mo>*</mo></msup><mi>K</mi></math>, and <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mi>B</mi><msup><mi>K</mi><mo>*</mo></msup></math>, which are used to model the charmed states <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><msubsup><mi>D</mi><mrow><mi>s</mi><mn>1</mn></mrow><mo>+</mo></msubsup><mo stretchy="false">(</mo><mn>2460</mn><mo stretchy="false">)</mo></math>, <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><msubsup><mi>D</mi><mrow><mi>s</mi><mn>1</mn></mrow><mo>+</mo></msubsup><mo stretchy="false">(</mo><mn>2536</mn><mo stretchy="false">)</mo></math>, and their bottom partners with quantum numbers <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><msup><mi>J</mi><mi>P</mi></msup><mo>=</mo><msup><mn>1</mn><mo>+</mo></msup></math>. To our knowledge, this presents the first comprehensive calculation of the magnetic and quadrupole moments for these specific molecular configurations. Employing the QCD light-cone sum rule method with molecular-type interpolating currents, we compute these moments and perform a detailed flavor decomposition to reveal the internal distribution of the electromagnetic charge and spin. Our results demonstrate that the light up and down quarks dominate the electromagnetic response, with negligible contributions from the heavy quarks. The <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><msup><mi>D</mi><mo>*</mo></msup><mi>K</mi></math> and <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><msup><mi>B</mi><mo>*</mo></msup><mi>K</mi></math> states exhibit negative quadrupole moments and slightly oblate charge distributions, whereas the <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mi>D</mi><msup><mi>K</mi><mo>*</mo></msup></math> and <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mi>B</mi><msup><mi>K</mi><mo>*</mo></msup></math> states possess positive quadrupole moments and prolate distributions, with significant contributions from the strange quark. The predicted moments provide benchmarks for lattice QCD calculations and are testable through their influence on radiative transitions and photo- and electroproduction observables at high-luminosity facilities, offering crucial insights into the internal structure and nature of these axial-vector states.

We investigate the relationship between thermodynamic phase transitions and the Lyapunov exponent of charged regular anti-de Sitter black holes in quasi-topological gravity. Our results show that the Lyapunov exponent displays multivalued behavior during phase transitions. Moreover, along the coexistence curve the Lyapunov exponent changes discontinously and continuously at the critical point. Near the critical point, the Lyapunov exponent follows a power-law behavior with a critical exponent of 1/2, suggesting its role as an order parameter and encodes information on black hole phase transitions.

Probing phase transitions of regular black holes in anti-de Sitter space with Lyapunov exponent

We consider soft graviton scattering for a theory where Einstein’s gravity is minimally coupled to a scalar field in the presence of a cosmological constant, i.e. in a background de Sitter space. Employing a perturbative expansion in a small cosmological constant, we compute leading, subleading and sub-subleading corrections to Weinberg’s soft graviton amplitude for the tree-level scatterings in the static patch of de Sitter space. We observe similar universal features of the soft graviton amplitude as found in (2023) 055 for the soft photons.

Perturbative soft graviton theorems in de Sitter spacetime

Inspired by the abundant structure near the threshold of the $$D^{(*)}K^{(*)}/\bar{D}^{(*)}K^{(*)},$$ we estimate the strong decay properties of the $$T_{c\bar{s}1}^{f/a}$$ and $$T_{\bar{c}\bar{s}1}^{f/a}$$ with $$I(J^{P})=0/1(1^{+})$$ in $$DK^{*}$$ and $$\bar{D}K^{*}$$ molecular scenarios in the present paper. By employing the effective Lagrangian approach, the widths of the processes $$T_{c\bar{s}1}^{f}\rightarrow D^{*}K, D_{s}^{*}\eta , DK\pi ,$$ $$T_{c\bar{s}1}^{a}\rightarrow D^{*}K, D_{s}^{*}\pi , DK\pi ,$$ and $$T_{\bar{c}\bar{s}1}^{f/a}\rightarrow \bar{D}^{*}K, \bar{D}K\pi $$ are estimated. Considering the present estimations, we propose to search for $$T_{c\bar{s}1}^{f/a}$$ states in $$D^{*}K$$ and $$D_{s}^{*}\pi /D_{s}^{*}\eta $$ mass invariant spectra. Their ratios may serve as an important test of the molecular scenario.

Strong decays of the $$DK^*$$ and $$\bar{D}K^{*}$$ molecular states

We perform the first computation of phase-transition parameters to cubic order in $ \lambda\sim m^2/T^2 $ , where $\textit{m}$ is the scalar mass and $\textit{T}$ is the temperature, in a simple model resembling the Higgs sector of the SMEFT. We use dimensional reduction, including 1-loop matching corrections for terms of dimension 6 (in 4-dimensional units), 2-loop contributions for dimension-4 ones and 3-loops for the squared mass. We precisely quantify the size of the different corrections, including renormalization-group running as well as quantum effects from light fields in the effective theory provided by the Coleman-Weinberg potential, and discuss briefly the implications for gravitational waves. Our results suggest that, for strong phase transitions, 1-loop corrections from dimension-6 operators can compete with 2-loop ones from quartic couplings and largely surpass those from 3-loop thermal masses.

Based on a sample of $2.7\times10^{9}$ $\psi(3686)$ events collected by the BESIII detector operating at the BEPCII collider, the decay $\psi(3686)\to\gamma\chi_{cJ}, \chi_{cJ}\to\eta\eta\eta^{\prime}$ is analyzed. The decay modes $\chi_{c1}$ and $\chi_{c2}\to\eta\eta\eta^{\prime}$ are observed for the first time, and their corresponding branching fractions are determined to be ${\cal{B}}(\chi_{c1}\to\eta\eta\eta^{\prime}) = $ $ (1.40\, \pm 0.13\, (\text{stat.}) \pm 0.09\, (\text{sys.})) \times 10^{-4}$ and ${\cal{B}}(\chi_{c2}\to\eta\eta\eta^{\prime}) = (4.18\, \pm 0.84\, (\text{stat.}) \pm 0.48\, (\text{sys.})) \times 10^{-5}$ . An upper limit on the branching fraction of $\chi_{c0}\to\eta\eta\eta^{\prime}$ is set as $2.59 \times 10^{-5}$ at a 90% confidence level (CL). A partial wave analysis (PWA) of the decay $\chi_{c1}\to\eta\eta\eta^{\prime}$ is performed to search for the $1^{-+}$ exotic state $\eta_1(1855)$ . The PWA result indicates that the structure in the $\eta\eta^{\prime}$ mass spectrum is attributed to $f_0(1500)$ , while in the $\eta\eta$ mass spectrum, it is attributed to the $0^{++}$ phase space. The upper limit of ${\cal{B}}(\chi_{c1}\to\eta_{1}(1855)\eta) \cdot {\cal{B}}(\eta_{1}(1855)\to\eta\eta^{\prime}) \lt $ $ 9.79 \times 10^{-5}$ is set based on the PWA at 90% CL.

We propose a new way to obtain explicit de Sitter (dS) solutions from controlled string-theory constructions. The Dine-Seiberg problem is usually interpreted as meaning that weak-coupling expansions generically drive runaways rather than allowing stabilized maximally symmetric spacetimes. Using the special case of string compactifications to 6D we confirm that this argument does prevent the existence of classical maximally symmetric 6D solutions but argue that it $\textit{allows}$ time-independent classical solutions with maximal 4D symmetry, including dS solutions. We review how minimal gauged chiral 6D supergravity evades standard dS no-go theorems by having a positive scalar potential and describe the known 4D classical dS, AdS and Minkowski solutions. The stringy provenance of this 6D supergravity was obscure until Grimm and collaborators found it to be produced by direct F-theory Calabi-Yau flux compactifications. We construct classical 4D maximally symmetric solutions for this 6D supergravity and provide explicit solutions of the higher-dimensional field equations corresponding to dS, AdS and flat spacetimes in 4D, allowing interesting hierarchies of scales. We show how the singularities of these solutions are consistent with the back-reaction of two space-filling 4D brane-like sources situated within the extra dimensions and infer some of the properties of these sources using the formalism of point particle effective field theory (PPEFT). These tools relate the near-source asymptotic forms of bulk fields to source properties and have been extensively tested for more prosaic physical systems involving the back-reaction of small sources, such as the dependence of atomic energy levels on nuclear properties. We use it to determine the tension of the brane-like sources (that can be positive) and its derivatives. We verify that the solutions are in the weak coupling/large volume regime required to neglect quantum and $\textit{α}$ effects.

4D de Sitter from string theory via 6D supergravity

The structure of the <math altimg='si35.svg'><msubsup><mrow /><mn>22</mn><mn>43</mn></msubsup></math>Ti <inf>21</inf> nucleus has been explored employing correlations between delayed and prompt <italic>&#947;</italic> rays, leading to a substantial extension of its positive-parity yrast band up to 25/2 <math altimg='si36.svg'><msup><mrow /><mo>+</mo></msup></math>. New states were were identified using the isomer-tagging technique together with <math altimg='si37.svg'><mrow><mi>&#947;</mi><mspace width='0.16em' /><mo linebreak='goodbreak'>&#8722;</mo><mspace width='0.16em' /><mi>&#947;</mi></mrow></math> coincidences and were compared to the analogue states in the mirror nucleus <math altimg='si38.svg'><msubsup><mrow /><mn>21</mn><mn>43</mn></msubsup></math>Sc <inf>22</inf>. The Mirror Energy Differences (MED) between analogue states have been extracted and compared to the predictions from the Large-Scale Shell-Model calculations in two main shells. For the positive-parity states which involve particle-hole excitations from the <italic>sd</italic> to the <italic>fp</italic> shell, a striking correlation between the measured MED and the type of nucleons excited across the shell gap is observed. This is reinforced by the systematic behavior of non-natural parity MED for nuclei across the entire <italic>f</italic> <inf>7/2</inf> shell, which puts in evidence that experimental MED serve as direct, sensitive probes of the underlying microscopic structure of nuclear wave function.
