We compare different limits of the Sachdev-Ye-Kitaev model of $\textit{N}$ complex fermion with $\textit{p}$-fermion interactions. First, we compute the fermion Green’s function and free energy in the limit of large $\textit{N}$ followed subsequently by the limit of large $\textit{p}$. Next, we examine the ‘double-scaling’ limit in which the large $\textit{N}$, $\textit{p}$ limits are taken at fixed $\textit{λ}$ = $\textit{p}$ /$\textit{N}$. Earlier results on the latter limit are resummed for small $\textit{λ}$, and shown to match our results for the first limit. We also describe the holographic match of our results to two-dimensional Jackiw-Teitelboim gravity with an additional U(1) gauge field.

Scaling limits of complex Sachdev-Ye-Kitaev models and holographic geometry

We propose an <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mrow><mi>AdS</mi><mo>×</mo><mi mathvariant="normal">S</mi></mrow></math> factorization formula at the level of the generating function for correlators with arbitrary Kaluza-Klein configurations and implement it in the supergravity limit of <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mrow><mi mathvariant="script">N</mi><mo>=</mo><mn>4</mn></mrow></math> supersymmetric Yang-Mills theory. By incorporating this mechanism into Mellin space bootstrap, together with an observed <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><msub><mi>Z</mi><mn>2</mn></msub></math> symmetry under <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mrow><mi>AdS</mi><mo stretchy="false">↔</mo><mi mathvariant="normal">S</mi></mrow></math>, we manage to simultaneously work out unified formulas both for all five-point half-BPS correlators and for all four-point correlators with one superdescendant. This <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mrow><mi>AdS</mi><mo>×</mo><mi mathvariant="normal">S</mi></mrow></math> bootstrap method is directly applicable to generic multipoint computation at tree level.

In this paper, we study Proca stars in asymptotically anti-de Sitter (AdS) Ellis wormholes. This study distinguishes itself from the analysis of the Proca stars in asymptotically flat spacetimes. In the AdS Ellis wormhole background, the mass of the wormhole solutions vanishes. Consequently, we employ numerical techniques to investigate in detail the impact of the cosmological constant on both the matter field and the wormhole geometry, while categorizing the solutions in accordance with the symmetries of the Proca field. The results show that when the cosmological constant decreases, not only does the characteristic spiral behavior of the Proca star solutions, namely the charge-frequency relation $\textit{Q}$– $$\omega ,$$ gradually disappear, but the throat or both sides of the wormhole may also develop a “horizon”, presenting a “black bounce” characteristic.

Proca stars in AdS Ellis wormholes

This paper presents a systematic study of hyperon non-leptonic two-body decays induced by light quark transitions, particularly the $ s \rightarrow u\bar{u}d $ process, within the framework of $\textit{SU}$(3) flavor symmetry. The effective weak Hamiltonian is decomposed into irreducible $\textit{SU}$(3) representations, including the 27-plet and octet components, and applied to analyze decays of octet and decuplet baryons and charmed baryons. Both the irreducible representation amplitude (IRA) approach and the topological diagrammatic analysis (TDA) are employed to construct decay amplitudes and constrain the parameter space. $\textit{SU}$(3) symmetry-breaking effects arising from the strange quark mass are incorporated systematically. A global fit to current experimental data allows us to extract form factors and predict branching ratios and asymmetry parameters for several decay channels. Our results demonstrate the predictive power of $\textit{SU}$(3) flavor symmetry while highlighting significant symmetry-breaking effects, especially in amplitudes related to the 27-plet. Notably, the $ \Sigma^+ \rightarrow p\pi^0 $ decay channel exhibits a deviation exceeding $ 1\sigma $ from experimental measurements, suggesting the possible presence of new decay mechanisms or contributions beyond the Standard Model. Besides, we also evaluate the size of symmetry breaking. However, the large uncertainty of the experimental data makes it difficult to precisely determine the value of symmetry breaking. We strongly recommend that future experimental efforts aim to reduce the measurement uncertainties, especially for the processes $ \Lambda^0\to p\pi^- $ and $ \Lambda^0\to n\pi^0 $ , which have larger experimental errors compared to other data and play an important role in determining the symmetry breaking parameter. This study provides a systematic framework for future tests of the Standard Model and the search for new physics in hyperon decays.

In this paper, we present a spherically symmetric wormhole in Einstein gravity coupled with the phantom scalar field and the nonlinear electromagnetic field. Numerical results show that this solution violates the Null Energy Condition (NEC), and as the parameters change, the ADM mass of the entire spacetime changes from positive to negative. In addition, we analyze the light ring (LR) of the solution and demonstrate the astronomical observation properties. Especially when negative mass appears, the general LR will not appear, only a “special unstable LR” exists at the throat, which is caused by the repulsive effect of the negative mass on both sides of the wormhole. Finally, we draw the embedding diagram to reflect the geometric characteristics of the wormhole.

Generalized Bronnikov–Ellis wormhole with nonlinear electromagnetic field

We bootstrap the first-order correction in the curvature expansion of the Virasoro-Shapiro amplitude in AdS spacetime, for arbitrary Kaluza-Klein charges of external operators. By constructing a universal ansatz based on single-valued multiple polylogarithms as well as an <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mrow><mi>AdS</mi><mo>×</mo><mi mathvariant="normal">S</mi></mrow></math> formalism, and matching it with the low-lying result, we derive a unified formula in terms of world-sheet integrals. Our result predicts an infinite number of Wilson coefficients that were not available in previous literature.

Kaluza-Klein AdS Virasoro-Shapiro Amplitude near Flat Space

Inspired by recent developments in the study of the model of double scaled SYK (DSSYK), as elucidated in a recent paper, we embark on a re-evaluation of the Sachdev-Ye-Kitaev (SYK) model. Our motivation stems from the insights gained from the DSSYK model, particularly its ability to capture essential features of quantum dynamics and gravitational effects. In this work, we delve into the SYK model, uncovering precise solutions for the two-point function and self-energy that have not been previously reported. Building upon the advancements made in particle physics phenomenology, we extend the SYK model to encompass tensor field theory. Through the incorporation of a cutoff term to ensure convergence, we substantially advance our understanding of quantum many-body physics. Our investigation extends to experimental parameter estimation and the exploration of cutoff dependency in random couplings, providing invaluable insights into system dynamics. The introduction of a novel tensor field theory replaces conventional fermionic degrees of freedom with tensorial counterparts, leading to the discovery of intriguing phase transition phenomena characterized by a first-order transition. Furthermore, we elucidate a direct linear relationship between the coupling parameter and the cutoff scale. These findings not only shed light on emergent behavior across both high-energy physics and condensed matter systems but also pave the way for further theoretical and experimental exploration, inspired by the recent advancements in the SYK model.

Unveiling novel insights in quantum dynamics through extended Sachdev-Ye-Kitaev model

In this paper, we explore the properties of the Ellis-Jaffe Sum Rule (EJSR) by employing the Principle of Maximum Conformality (PMC) approach to address its perturbative part up to next-to-next-to-next-to-leading order ( <math altimg='si1.svg'><msup><mrow><mi mathvariant='normal'>N</mi></mrow><mrow><mn mathvariant='normal'>3</mn></mrow></msup><mi mathvariant='normal'>LO</mi></math>) QCD contributions. By applying the PMC, we achieve a precise perturbative QCD prediction for the EJSR, free from conventional ambiguities associated with the renormalization scale choices. Considering the presence of the <math altimg='si2.svg'><msub><mrow><mi>&#945;</mi></mrow><mrow><mi>s</mi></mrow></msub></math> Landau pole near the asymptotic scale, we incorporate the low-energy <math altimg='si2.svg'><msub><mrow><mi>&#945;</mi></mrow><mrow><mi>s</mi></mrow></msub></math> model based on analytic perturbation theory (APT) to refine the EJSR behavior in the infrared region. Updated determination of Ellis-Jaffe sum rules up to N 3LO QCD corrections

The study of chaos and complexity in non-Hermitian quantum systems poses significant challenges due to the emergence of complex eigenvalues in their spectra. Recently, the singular value decomposition (SVD) method was proposed to address these challenges. In this work, we identify two critical shortcomings of the SVD approach when analyzing Krylov complexity and spectral statistics in non-Hermitian settings. First, we show that SVD fails to reproduce conventional eigenvalue statistics in the Hermitian limit for systems with nonpositive definite spectra, as exemplified by a variant of the Sachdev-Ye-Kitaev (SYK) model. Second, and more fundamentally, Krylov complexity and spectral statistics derived via SVD cannot distinguish chaotic from integrable non-Hermitian dynamics, leading to results that conflict with complex spacing ratio analysis. Our findings reveal that SVD is inadequate for probing quantum chaos in non-Hermitian systems, and we advocate employing more robust methods, such as the bi-Lanczos algorithm, for future research in this direction.

Singular value decomposition and its blind spot for quantum chaos in non-Hermitian Sachdev-Ye-Kitaev models

We systematically compute five-point correlators of chiral primary operators with arbitrary Kaluza-Klein charges at tree level in <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mrow><msub><mrow><mi>AdS</mi></mrow><mrow><mn>5</mn></mrow></msub><mo>×</mo><msup><mrow><mi mathvariant="normal">S</mi></mrow><mrow><mn>3</mn></mrow></msup></mrow></math> and obtain a unified formula. This result serves as the first concrete confirmation for the existence of the hidden eight-dimensional symmetries at the level of five points.
