The decay of the Higgs boson and the nature of dark matter remain fundamental challenges in particle physics. We investigate the 95 GeV diphoton excess and dark matter within the framework of the triplet-extended minimal supersymmetric standard model (TMSSM). In this model, an additional hypercharge $ Y=0 $ , $ S U(2)_L $ triplet superfield is introduced. Mixing between the triplet and doublet Higgs states enhances the diphoton signal strength of the 95 GeV Higgs boson, resulting in $ \mu_{\gamma\gamma}^{{\rm{CMS+ATLAS}}} = 0.24_{-0.08}^{+0.09} $ , which is consistent with experimental observations. This enhancement arises primarily from charged Higgs and chargino loop contributions, together with an LEP excess in the $ Zb\bar{b} $ channel around the same mass within the $ 2\sigma $ range. Additionally, the model accommodates viable dark matter candidates in the form of a bino-dominated neutralino. The relic density is reduced to the observed value through resonance-enhanced annihilation via the Higgs portal or co-annihilation with the triplino or higgsino. This reduction remains consistent with constraints from direct and indirect detection experiments. A comprehensive parameter scan demonstrates that the TMSSM can simultaneously explain the 95 GeV diphoton excess, observed 125 GeV Higgs mass, and dark matter relic density, establishing a compelling and theoretically consistent framework.

This paper presents a systematic study of hyperon non-leptonic two-body decays induced by light quark transitions, particularly the $ s \rightarrow u\bar{u}d $ process, within the framework of $\textit{SU}$(3) flavor symmetry. The effective weak Hamiltonian is decomposed into irreducible $\textit{SU}$(3) representations, including the 27-plet and octet components, and applied to analyze decays of octet and decuplet baryons and charmed baryons. Both the irreducible representation amplitude (IRA) approach and the topological diagrammatic analysis (TDA) are employed to construct decay amplitudes and constrain the parameter space. $\textit{SU}$(3) symmetry-breaking effects arising from the strange quark mass are incorporated systematically. A global fit to current experimental data allows us to extract form factors and predict branching ratios and asymmetry parameters for several decay channels. Our results demonstrate the predictive power of $\textit{SU}$(3) flavor symmetry while highlighting significant symmetry-breaking effects, especially in amplitudes related to the 27-plet. Notably, the $ \Sigma^+ \rightarrow p\pi^0 $ decay channel exhibits a deviation exceeding $ 1\sigma $ from experimental measurements, suggesting the possible presence of new decay mechanisms or contributions beyond the Standard Model. Besides, we also evaluate the size of symmetry breaking. However, the large uncertainty of the experimental data makes it difficult to precisely determine the value of symmetry breaking. We strongly recommend that future experimental efforts aim to reduce the measurement uncertainties, especially for the processes $ \Lambda^0\to p\pi^- $ and $ \Lambda^0\to n\pi^0 $ , which have larger experimental errors compared to other data and play an important role in determining the symmetry breaking parameter. This study provides a systematic framework for future tests of the Standard Model and the search for new physics in hyperon decays.

In this article, we generalize the recursion methods based on cut equations [N. Arkani-Hamed, H. Frost, and G. Salvatori, <a href="http://arXiv.org/abs/2412.21027">arXiv:2412.21027</a>.], originally developed for scalar theories, to gluons in pure Yang-Mills theory. In gauge theories, planar loop integrands are subtle to defined and obtained due to the existence of scaleless integrals. A critical challenge arises when constructing higher-loop integrands via recursion methods: integrands with or without all scaleless terms both are incompatible with the reconstruction formalism in Arkani-Hamed et al. To address this, we introduce a refined integrand by systematically removing specific scaleless contributions, and develop an algorithmic implementation of the recursion to all-loop level. We explicitly demonstrate the framework by three steps and obtain the recursion formula in pure Yang-Mills theory. In the Supplemental Material, we provide the results up to the two-loop five-point integrand and the simplified result in the large-<math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mrow><mi>D</mi></mrow></math> limit for the three-loop four-point case.

All-loop planar integrands in Yang-Mills theory from recursion

The isospin mixing was deduced in the compound nucleus 72Kr at a low nuclear temperature around 1.3 MeV, from the <italic>&#947;</italic> decay of the giant dipole resonance. The <italic>&#947;</italic> rays from two compound-nucleus reactions were measured: from the 32 S + 40Ca at bombarding energy of 90 MeV characterized by isospin I = 0, and from the 31 P + 40Ca at 82 MeV used as a reference. The ELIFANT array was employed at the Bucharest Tandem Laboratory, consisting of Compton-suppressed scintillator detectors. The statistical-model analysis of the measured spectra provided a mixing parameter of <math altimg='si1.svg'><mo stretchy='false'>(</mo><mn>3.5</mn><mspace width='0.2em' /><mo>&#177;</mo><mspace width='0.2em' /><mn>0.8</mn><mo stretchy='false'>)</mo><mtext>%</mtext></math>. This new point, being at the lowest temperature compared with the few other existing ones, can validate the predictions of the temperature dependence of the isospin mixing. The isospin-symmetry-breaking correction, <math altimg='si2.svg'><msub><mrow><mi>&#948;</mi></mrow><mrow><mi>c</mi></mrow></msub></math>, used for the Fermi super-allowed transitions was extracted from the present result of the isospin mixing and found to be consistent with <italic>&#946;</italic> decay data, theoretical predictions, and previous experimental results.

Probing the isospin mixing in the 72Kr compound nucleus via GDR <italic>&#947;</italic> decay

In this study, we investigate the $R^2$ corrections to the dissociation of heavy quarkonium in the Gauss-Bonnet gravitational background. We analyze the impact of the Gauss-Bonnet parameter $\lambda_{\rm GB}$ on the spectral function of charmonium and bottomonium and examine the effect of $\lambda_{\rm GB}$ on the dissociation of heavy quarkonium. Our results show that $\lambda_{\rm GB}$ reduces the peak height and increases the peak width of the spectral function, suggesting that $\lambda_{\rm GB}$ enhances the dissociation of heavy quarkonium. We also discuss the variation in the dissociation of heavy quarkonium with the ratio of shear viscosity to entropy density and observe that the dissociation is easier in more perfect plasma. Additionally, we observe that the temperature decreases the peak height and widens the peak, thereby accelerating the dissociation.

We study the transverse momentum ( $p_T$ ) differential anisotropic flow and flow fluctuation in Pb+Pb collisions at $\sqrt{s_{_{NN}}}$ =5.02 TeV at the LHC. A (3+1)-dimensional CLVisc hydrodynamics framework with fluctuating TRENTO (or AMPT) initial conditions is utilized to simulate the space-time evolution of the quark-gluon plasma (QGP) medium. The effects of shear viscosity and the sub-nucleon structure on anisotropic flow and flow fluctuation are analyzed. Our result shows that shear viscosity tends to suppress both flow coefficients ( ${v_2\{2}\}$ , ${v_2\{4\}}$ , and ${\langle v_2\rangle}$ ) and flow fluctuation ( ${\sigma_{v_2}}$ ) owing to its smearing effect on local density fluctuation. The flow coefficients appear to be insensitive to the sub-nucleon structure, whereas the flow fluctuation ${\sigma_{v_2}}$ tends to be suppressed by the sub-nucleon structure in central collisions but enhanced in peripheral collisions. After taking into account the sub-nucleon structure effect, our numerical result can qualitatively describe the relative flow fluctuations ( ${v_2\{4\}/v_2\{2\}}$ , $F({v_2})$ ) measured by the ALICE Collaboration at the LHC. We further investigate the effects of shear viscosity, sub-nucleon structure, and initial condition model on the flow angle and flow magnitude decorrelations ( ${A_2^f}$ , ${M_2^f}$ ) using the four-particle correlation method. We find that the flow decorrelation effect is typically stronger in central collisions than in peripheral collisions. The flow angle decorrelation is found to be insensitive to the shear viscosity and sub-nucleon structure, whereas the flow magnitude decorrelation shows quite different behaviors when using the TRENTO and AMPT initial condition models. Our study sheds light on the anisotropic flow, transport properties, and initial structure of the QGP created in high-energy nuclear collisions.

We propose a new “universal expansion” for one-loop amplitudes with arbitrary number of gluons in <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mrow><mi>D</mi></mrow></math> dimensions, which holds for general gauge theories with gluons, fermions, and scalars in the loop, including pure and supersymmetric Yang-Mills theories. It expresses the <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mi>n</mi></math>-gluon amplitudes as a linear combination of universal scalar-loop amplitudes with <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mi>n</mi><mo>−</mo><mi>m</mi></math> gluons and <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mi>m</mi></math> scalars, multiplied by gauge-invariant building blocks (defined for general gauge theories); the integrands of these scalar-loop amplitudes are given in terms of tree-level objects attached to the scalar loop, or by differential operators acting on the most important part which is proportional to <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mi>D</mi></math> (with <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mi>m</mi><mo>=</mo><mn>0</mn></math>). We present closed-formula for these one-loop integrands and prove them by showing that the single cuts are correctly reproduced by the gluing of an additional pair of gluons (fermions, scalars) in the forward limit, plus <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mi>n</mi></math> gluons in a tree amplitude.

One-loop amplitudes in gauge theories

In this paper we revisit the general phenomenon that scattering amplitudes of pions can be obtained from “dimensional reduction” of gluons in higher dimensions in a more general context. We show that such “dimensional reduction” operations universally turn gluons into pions regardless of details of interactions: under such operations any amplitude that is gauge invariant and contains only local simple poles becomes one that satisfies Adler zero in the soft limit. As two such examples, we show that starting from gluon amplitudes in both superstring and bosonic string theories, the operations produce “stringy” completion of pion scattering amplitudes to all orders in α′, with leading order given by non-linear sigma model amplitudes. Via Kawai-Lewellen-Tye relations, they give closed-stringy completion for Born-Infeld theory and the special Galileon theory, which are directly related to gravity amplitudes in closed-string theories. We also discuss how they naturally produce stringy models for mixed amplitudes of pions and colored scalars.

Pions from higher-dimensional gluons: general realizations and stringy models

Scattering amplitudes in planar <math> <mi>N</mi> </math> $$ \mathcal{N} $$ = 4 super Yang-Mills theory exhibit singularities which reflect various aspects of the cluster algebras associated to the Grassmannians Gr(4, n) and their tropical counterparts. Here we investigate the potential origins of such structures and examine the extent to which they can be recovered from the Gröbner structure of the underlying Plücker ideals, focussing on the Grassmannians corresponding to finite cluster algebras.

Adjacency for scattering amplitudes from the Gröbner fan

Within QCD reggeon field theory we study the formation of two subsequent triple pomeron vertices in the process P→PP→PPP. We make use of an earlier investigation [1] of the six-reggeon amplitude in deep inelastic scattering and show that in the large-N  c  limit pomeron fan diagrams emerge with the same triple pomeron vertex in all places. We thus confirm the BK-equation, but we also find additional terms related to the reggeization of the gluon, and we discuss their potential significance. Our analysis also includes the general pomeron → two odderon vertex: a particular version of this vertex has been included into earlier generalizations the BK equation.
