The total wave function is written as the product of a radial component and an exact spin-color-flavor state, restricted to isospin <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mi>I</mi><mo indentshift="1em">=</mo><mn>0</mn></math>. For this isospin, all allowed flavor wave functions are included. We explore two distinct constructions of the six-quark system. In the first one, corresponding to a sexaquark, all six quarks are treated as indistinguishable and the wave function is fully antisymmetric with respect to the exchange of any two quarks. In the second one, corresponding to the <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mi>H</mi></math> dibaryon, the system is partitioned into two sets of three quarks, effectively mimicking a baryon-baryonlike configuration including hidden color terms in which antisymmetry is imposed only within each three-quark cluster. Only when the system is forced into a baryon-baryonlike configuration, and for certain values of the spin, color and flavor quantum numbers, do we obtain states with masses close to, but above, the two-baryon threshold. Those states are characterized by two loosely bound three-quark clusters separated from one another by a distance of <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mo>∼</mo><mn>2.5</mn><mtext> </mtext><mtext> </mtext><mi>fm</mi></math>. The rare exclusive decay of the Higgs boson, $ H \to J/\psi + \gamma $ , is a crucial channel for assessing the Yukawa coupling of the charm quark. In this article, we examine this process up to the next-to-next-to-leading order (NNLO) in QCD utilizing the Principle of Maximum Conformality (PMC). The PMC offers a systematic approach to eliminate renormalization scale uncertainties by resumming non-conformal $\textit{β}$ contributions into the QCD running coupling through the renormalization group equation (RGE). A PMC scale of $ Q_\star = 3.29\ {\rm{GeV}} $ is obtained, which reflects the low virtuality of the underlying QCD dynamics in the $ H \to J/\psi + \gamma $ process. Notably, this is an order of magnitude smaller than the scale estimated using the conventional method, $\textit{i.e.}$, $ \mu_r = m_H/2 $ . By removing the non-conformal $ \{\beta_i\} $ -terms from the perturbative QCD (pQCD) series, we observe that the PMC NLO QCD correction term is significantly enhanced, while the PMC NNLO QCD correction is suppressed. This indicates improved convergence of the pQCD series up to NNLO. Finally, we calculate the decay width $ \Gamma(H \to J/\psi + \gamma) = $ $ 14.183^{+0.249}_{-0.347} \pm 0.022 $ eV, where the first uncertainty arises from the factorization scale $ \mu_\Lambda \in [1, 2]\ {\rm{GeV}} $ , and the second is due to the estimation of unknown higher-order terms using the Pad $ \acute{e} $ approximant approach. The corresponding branching fraction is $ {\cal{B}}(H \to J/\psi + \gamma) = 3.485_{-0.161}^{+0.152} \times 10^{-6} $ .

Gamma-ray bursts (GRBs) offer a powerful probe of the cosmic expansion history far beyond the redshift range accessible to Type Ia supernovae. However, the study of cosmological models using GRBs is hindered by the circularity problem, which arises from assuming a fiducial cosmological model during GRB luminosity distance calibration. In this work, we perform a model-independent calibration of GRB luminosity relations using observational measurements of the Hubble parameter from the A220 and J220 compilations, thereby avoiding explicit cosmological assumptions. We employ an artificial neural network to reconstruct the calibration relation directly from the data. In addition, we implement a Bayesian neural network framework as an alternative approach, enabling a data-driven treatment of both statistical and systematic uncertainties. We use calibrated GRB samples to constrain the Amati relation and systematically compare the outcomes obtained from different calibration techniques and datasets. We find that the Amati relation slopes derived from the two neural network approaches are consistent with each other and with previous low-redshift calibrations obtained using model-independent methods. The Bayesian Neural Network approach provides a more robust framework for propagating uncertainties in the calibration procedure.

We study the angular distribution of the Higgs boson decay $$ h\to \ell {\overline{\nu}}_{\ell }{\overline{\ell}}^{\prime }{\nu}_{\ell^{\prime }} $$ with $\textit{ℓ}$ ≠ $\textit{ℓ}$ . Due to the presence of two undetected neutrinos, a complete angular analysis is not experimentally feasible. To overcome this, we reorganize the kinematics from the conventional lepton-neutrino pairs into a charged-lepton pair and a neutrino pair, i.e. $$ \ell {\overline{\ell}}^{\prime } $$ and $$ {\overline{\nu}}_{\ell }{\nu}_{\ell^{\prime }} $$ . This allows us to express the differential decay rate in terms of experimentally accessible variables, including the invariant mass squared of the neutrino pair. Using the effective field theory framework, we derive this rate and integrate over the neutrino-associated angles. This parametrization provides a clean and measurable angular distribution, offering a new probe of the $\textit{hWW}$ coupling and possible beyond-the-Standard-Model contributions.

Based on the large data sample of approximately five billion events collected in 2023 during the LHC Run 3 data taking, these measurements provide important insights into the production mechanism of (anti)(hyper)nuclei, as well as into the phase-space distributions of nucleons and hyperons produced in heavy-ion collisions. The results are discussed in the context of hydrodynamic and coalescence models, highlighting how the measurement of the elliptic flow of nuclei, such as helium and hypertriton, provides critical constraints on hadronization models.

This article details two studies of Higgs boson properties using the vector-boson fusion production mode and the $\textit{γγjj}$ final state. Both efforts are based on a data sample corresponding to 164 fb of $$ \sqrt{s}=13.6 $$ TeV proton-proton collisions recorded by the ATLAS experiment at the Large Hadron Collider. The first study employs matrix-element-based optimal observables to constrain CP-odd couplings beyond the Standard Model within the Standard Model Effective Field Theory framework, expressed in the Warsaw basis. The second study exploits angular distributions to probe the Higgs boson’s couplings to longitudinally and transversely polarised $\textit{W}$ and $\textit{Z}$ bosons in the production of the Higgs boson. To maximise the sensitivity, the constraints of the CP-odd couplings are combined with those from a previous analysis performed in $\textit{γγjj}$ events in a data sample of proton-proton collisions at $$ \sqrt{s}=13 $$ TeV, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 140 fb . A significant improvement with respect to the previous analysis is achieved through the implementation of a new neural-network-based classification algorithm. All measurements are in agreement with the Standard Model prediction of a CP-even Higgs boson with the expected relative coupling strengths to longitudinally and transversely polarised vector bosons.
