Using the harmonic superspace approach, we perform a comprehensive study of the structure of divergences in the higher-derivative <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mn>6</mn><mi>D</mi></math>, <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mi mathvariant="script">N</mi><mo>=</mo><mo stretchy="false">(</mo><mn>1</mn><mo>,</mo><mn>0</mn><mo stretchy="false">)</mo></math> supersymmetric Yang-Mills theory coupled to the hypermultiplet in the adjoint representation. The effective action is constructed in the framework of the superfield background field method with the help of the <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mi mathvariant="script">N</mi><mo>=</mo><mo stretchy="false">(</mo><mn>1</mn><mo>,</mo><mn>0</mn><mo stretchy="false">)</mo></math> supersymmetric higher-derivative regularization scheme which preserves all symmetries of the theory. The one-loop divergences are calculated in a manifestly gauge invariant and <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mn>6</mn><mi>D</mi></math>, <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mi mathvariant="script">N</mi><mo>=</mo><mo stretchy="false">(</mo><mn>1</mn><mo>,</mo><mn>0</mn><mo stretchy="false">)</mo></math> supersymmetric form, hopefully admitting a generalization to higher loops. The <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mi>β</mi></math> function in the one-loop approximation is found and analyzed. In particular, it is shown that the one-loop <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mi>β</mi></math> function for an arbitrary regulator function is specified by integrals of double total derivatives in momentum space, like it happens in <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mn>4</mn><mi>D</mi></math>, <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mi mathvariant="script">N</mi><mo>=</mo><mn>1</mn></math> superfield gauge theories. This points to the potential possibility to derive the all-loop Novikov-Shifman-Vainshtein-Zakharov-like exact <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mi>β</mi></math> function in the considered theory.

Structure of divergences in the higher-derivative supersymmetric <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mrow><mn>6</mn><mi>D</mi></mrow></math> gauge theory

We investigate the semileptonic decays of charmed mesons to light vector mesons within the framework of light-cone sum rules. Our calculation is performed at leading order in quantum chromodynamics (QCD) coupling, incorporating contributions up to twist-five accuracy from both two-particle and three-particle light-cone distribution amplitudes. Transition form factors are predicted twist by twist to assess the convergence property of the operator product expansion. It is verified that the twist-four and twist-five contributions are indeed negligible for all the decays under consideration. Twist-three dominance is observed for some of the form factors, subject to heavy quark effective field theory interpretation. Branching ratios for the decays <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><msup><mi>D</mi><mo>+</mo></msup><mo stretchy="false">→</mo><msup><mi>ρ</mi><mn>0</mn></msup><msup><mo>ℓ</mo><mo>+</mo></msup><msub><mi>ν</mi><mo>ℓ</mo></msub></math>, <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><msubsup><mi>D</mi><mi>s</mi><mo>+</mo></msubsup><mo stretchy="false">→</mo><msup><mi>K</mi><mrow><mo>*</mo><mn>0</mn></mrow></msup><msup><mo>ℓ</mo><mo>+</mo></msup><msub><mi>ν</mi><mo>ℓ</mo></msub></math>, <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><msup><mi>D</mi><mn>0</mn></msup><mo stretchy="false">→</mo><msup><mi>K</mi><mrow><mo>*</mo><mo>−</mo></mrow></msup><msup><mo>ℓ</mo><mo>+</mo></msup><msub><mi>ν</mi><mo>ℓ</mo></msub></math> and <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><msup><mi>D</mi><mo>+</mo></msup><mo stretchy="false">→</mo><msup><mover accent="true"><mi>K</mi><mo stretchy="false">¯</mo></mover><mrow><mo>*</mo><mn>0</mn></mrow></msup><msup><mo>ℓ</mo><mo>+</mo></msup><msub><mi>ν</mi><mo>ℓ</mo></msub></math> are obtained, and a 10%–20% discrepancy from experimental measurements is found. Our finding indicates that the resonant-width and nonresonant QCD backgrounds effects should be potentially significant, implying the necessity to further implement their contributions in future precision studies of the semileptonic charm decays.

This paper mainly aims to solve the anti-deSitter Black Holes (AdS BH) under the Barrow entropy under polytropic gas fluid, especially the Chaplygin gas. First, we develop this last polytropic model in detail to then obtain the possible solutions and thermodynamic conditions on the energy momentum and the Barrow entropy for spacetimes of spatial dimension $$D>3$$ . Then, we focus on thermodynamic solutions and the different impacts on the Barrow entropy of the black hole, the temperature profile, the mass, and the various physical quantities involved. Afterwards, we focus on the specific cases of the solutions of dimensions $$D=4$$ and 5 to concretely test the models, especially from the point of view of the thermodynamic topology. Finally, we generalize everything by elaborating and testing the stability of the models to arrive at the thermal geometry of the AdS BH.

The $\textit{D}$-dimensional charged AdS black holes solutions in polytropic dark energy from Barrow entropy

This research explores the rapid expansion period of the early universe by applying the Chaplygin gas model, an alternative cosmological framework, to analyze the dynamics of inflationary processes. This study assesses the compatibility of three widely studied scalar field potentials with the latest observational constraints derived from the Planck datasets. Our analysis includes inflationary parameters such as slow-roll parameters, scalar power spectrum <math altimg='si1.svg'><msub><mrow><mi mathvariant='script'>P</mi></mrow><mrow><mi mathvariant='script'>R</mi></mrow></msub></math>, scalar spectral index <math altimg='si2.svg'><msub><mrow><mi>n</mi></mrow><mrow><mi>s</mi></mrow></msub></math>, dissipative ratio <italic>R</italic>, tensor-to-scalar ratio <italic>r</italic> and running of the scalar spectral index <math altimg='si100.svg'><mfrac><mrow><mi>d</mi><msub><mrow><mi>n</mi></mrow><mrow><mi>s</mi></mrow></msub></mrow><mrow><mi>d</mi><mi mathvariant='normal'>ln</mi><mo>&#8289;</mo><mi>k</mi></mrow></mfrac></math>, within the theoretical frameworks of canonical scalar field dynamics and the Chaplygin gas cosmological model. These parameters help to paint a comprehensive picture of the inflationary epoch and its impact on the observable Universe. We also address the generalized ratio of the swampland de-Sitter conjecture through the expression of <math altimg='si4.svg'><mfrac><mrow><msup><mrow><mi>T</mi></mrow><mrow><mo>&#8242;</mo></mrow></msup><mi>V</mi></mrow><mrow><msup><mrow><mi>V</mi></mrow><mrow><mo>&#8242;</mo></mrow></msup><mi>T</mi></mrow></mfrac></math> for three different potentials. We analyze inflation driven by a scalar field <italic>&#981;</italic> with decay rate <math altimg='si19.svg'><mi mathvariant='normal'>&#915;</mi><mo stretchy='false'>(</mo><mi>&#981;</mi><mo>,</mo><mi>T</mi><mo stretchy='false'>)</mo><mo linebreak='goodbreak' linebreakstyle='after'>=</mo><msub><mrow><mi>C</mi></mrow><mrow><mi>&#981;</mi></mrow></msub><mfrac><mrow><msup><mrow><mi>T</mi></mrow><mrow><mi>a</mi></mrow></msup></mrow><mrow><msup><mrow><mi>&#981;</mi></mrow><mrow><mi>a</mi><mo linebreak='badbreak' linebreakstyle='after'>&#8722;</mo><mn>1</mn></mrow></msup></mrow></mfrac></math>, where <math altimg='si52.svg'><msub><mrow><mi>C</mi></mrow><mrow><mi>&#981;</mi></mrow></msub></math> is a dimensionless coupling and <italic>a</italic> controls dissipation strength. D-brane and exponential potentials inspire warm inflation and swampland conjecture

As a $\textit{D}$-wave partner of $$\psi (3770)$$ identified by the LHCb Collaboration, $$\psi _3(3842)$$ lies between the $$D{\bar{D}}$$ and $$D\bar{D^*}$$ thresholds. Its non- $$D{\bar{D}}$$ decay channels have attracted considerable interest. In this study, we investigate these allowed non- $$D{\bar{D}}$$ decays of $$\psi _3(3842)$$ into $\textit{PP}$, $\textit{PV}$, and $\textit{VV}$ final states using the hadronic loop mechanism, where $\textit{P}$ and $\textit{V}$ represent light pseudoscalar and vector mesons, respectively. Our results suggest that these non- $$D{\bar{D}}$$ decays of $$\psi _3(3842)$$ can be significant, with contributions primarily driven by hadronic loops. Notably, the $$\rho \pi $$ channel stands out as the main non- $$D{\bar{D}}$$ decay mode, while non- $$D{\bar{D}}$$ decay channels involving strange mesons are also sizable. These predictions could be tested in future experiments such as those at LHCb and BESIII.

Non- $$D{\bar{D}}$$ decays into light meson pairs of the $\textit{D}$-wave charmonium $$\psi _3(3842)$$

We carefully analyse the challenges posed by the construction of type IIB chiral global embeddings of Fibre Inflation with $$ \overline{\textrm{D}3} $$ uplift to a de Sitter vacuum. We present an explicit example involving an $\textit{h}$ = 4 Calabi-Yau manifold with a K3 fibration and a del Pezzo divisor supporting non-perturbative effects. The chosen orientifold involution induces O3-planes that can be placed on top of each other at the tip of the throat of a deformed conifold singularity. The D7-brane sector contains standard magnetised branes and a Whitney brane. The former induce chiral matter and generate quantum effects that stabilise the Kähler moduli, while the latter helps to increase the total D3-charge. We study in detail the constraints on the parameter space leading to an observationally viable inflationary dynamics, finding several regions where the effective field theory is under control.

Chiral global embedding of Fibre Inflation with $$ \overline{\textrm{D}3} $$ uplift

The strong-phase differences between $$ {D}^0\to {K}_{S(L)}^0{\pi}^{+}{\pi}^{-} $$ and $$ {\overline{D}}^0\to {K}_{S(L)}^0{\pi}^{+}{\pi}^{-} $$ decays are one of the most important inputs in measuring the $\textit{CP}$ violating angle $\textit{γ}$ via $\textit{B}$ → $\textit{DK}$ decays. They also play a key role in studies of charm mixing and indirect $\textit{CP}$ violation. In this paper, the strong-phase differences are determined in a model-independent way with quantum-correlated $\textit{D}$ - $$ {\overline{D}}^0 $$ decays from 7.93 fb of $\textit{e}$ $\textit{e}$ annihilation data at $$ \sqrt{s} $$ = 3$\textit{.}$773 GeV by the BESIII experiment. These results are the most precise to date and are expected to significantly reduce associated uncertainties in determining the $\textit{CP}$ violating angle $\textit{γ}$ and related charm mixing parameters.
