Motivated by the observation of the doubly charmed tetraquark $ T_{cc}(3875)^+ $ , we present a systematic study of doubly heavy tetraquarks ( $ T_{QQ'\bar{q}\bar{q}'} $ ) using heavy antiquark-diquark symmetry (HADS) within a constituent quark model. By calibrating model parameters to known hadron spectra and incorporating the effective mass formula, we predict the masses for 38 ground-state tetraquarks with $ cc $ , $ bb $ , and $ bc $ heavy quark pairs, including the non-strange, single-strange, and double-strange configurations with quantum numbers $ J^P = 0^+, 1^+ $ and $ 2^+ $ . Notably, we identify several stable states below the relevant meson-meson thresholds, particularly in the $ bb\bar{q}\bar{q}' $ sector. The explicit connection between the doubly heavy tetraquark and the heavy baryon spectra through HADS reduces model dependence and reveals the fundamental systematics in the heavy-quark hadron landscape.

We investigate the soft behavior of the tree-level Rutherford scattering processes mediated via $\textit{t}$-channel one-graviton exchange. We consider two types of Rutherford scattering processes: a low-energy massless structureless projectile (up to spin-1) hits a static massive composite particle carrying various spins (up to spin-2), and slowly moving light projectile hits a heavy static composite target. The unpolarized cross sections in the first type exhibit universal forms at the first two orders in $ 1/M $ expansion, yet differ at the next-to-next-to-leading order, though some terms at this order still remain universal or depend on the target spin in a definite manner. The unpolarized cross sections in the second type are universal at the lowest order in projectile velocity expansion and through all orders in $ 1/M $ , independent on the spins of both projectile and target. The universality partially breaks down at relative order- $ v^2/M^2 $ , albeit some terms at this order still depend on the target spin in a specific manner.

We revisit the calculation of the average jet multiplicity in high-energy collisions. First, we introduce a new definition of (sub)jet multiplicity based on Lund declusterings obtained using the Cambridge jet algorithm. We develop a new systematic resummation approach. This allows us to compute both the Lund and the Cambridge average multiplicities to next-to-next-to-double (NNDL) logarithmic accuracy in electron-positron annihilation, an order higher in accuracy than previous works in the literature. We match our resummed calculation to the exact NLO (  <math> <mi>O</mi> </math>  $$ \mathcal{O} $$ (  <math> <msubsup> <mi>α</mi> <mi>s</mi> <mn>2</mn> </msubsup> </math>  $$ {\alpha}_s^2 $$ )) result, showing predictions for the Lund multiplicity at LEP energies with theoretical uncertainties up to 50% smaller than the previous state-of-the-art. Adding hadronisation corrections obtained by Monte Carlo simulations, we also show a good agreement with existing Cambridge multiplicity data. Finally, to highlight the flexibility of our method, we extend the Lund multiplicity calculation to hadronic collisions where we reach next-to-double logarithmic accuracy for colour singlet production.

Lund and Cambridge multiplicities for precision physics

The production of 
					 baryons in proton-proton collisions at a centre-of-mass energy of 
					 is measured in the transverse-momentum range 
					 and the rapidity range 
					. The data used in this measurement correspond to an integrated luminosity of 
					, recorded by the LHCb experiment during 2016. The ratio of the 
					 production cross-section times the branching fraction of the 
					 decay relative to the prompt 
					 production cross-section is found to be 
					, assuming the central value of the measured 
					 lifetime, where the first uncertainty is statistical and the second systematic.

The discovery of the Higgs boson with its mass around 125 GeV by the ATLAS and CMS Collaborations marked the beginning of a new era in high energy physics. The Higgs boson will be the subject of extensive studies of the ongoing LHC program. At the same time, lepton collider based Higgs factories have been proposed as a possible next step beyond the LHC, with its main goal to precisely measure the properties of the Higgs boson and probe potential new physics associated with the Higgs boson. The Circular Electron Positron Collider (CEPC) is one of such proposed Higgs factories. The CEPC is an e+e− circular collider proposed by and to be hosted in China. Located in a tunnel of approximately 100 km in circumference, it will operate at a center-of-mass energy of 240 GeV as the Higgs factory. In this paper, we present the first estimates on the precision of the Higgs boson property measurements achievable at the CEPC and discuss implications of these measurements.
