We report on the measurements of directed flow <math altimg='si14.svg'><msub><mi>v</mi><mn>1</mn></msub></math> and elliptic flow <math altimg='si9.svg'><msub><mi>v</mi><mn>2</mn></msub></math> for hadrons ( <math altimg='si4.svg'><msup><mi>&#960;</mi><mo>&#177;</mo></msup></math>, <math altimg='si5.svg'><msup><mi>K</mi><mo>&#177;</mo></msup></math>, <math altimg='si6.svg'><msubsup><mi>K</mi><mrow><mi>S</mi></mrow><mn>0</mn></msubsup></math>, <math altimg='si15.svg'><mi>p</mi></math>, <math altimg='si7.svg'><mi>&#981;</mi></math>, <math altimg='si2.svg'><mstyle mathvariant='normal'><mi>&#923;</mi></mstyle></math> and <math altimg='si8.svg'><msup><mstyle mathvariant='normal'><mi>&#926;</mi></mstyle><mo>&#8722;</mo></msup></math>) from Au+Au collisions at <math altimg='si16.svg'><msqrt><msub><mi>s</mi><mrow><mi>N</mi><mi>N</mi></mrow></msub></msqrt></math> = 3 GeV and <math altimg='si9.svg'><msub><mi>v</mi><mn>2</mn></msub></math> for ( <math altimg='si4.svg'><msup><mi>&#960;</mi><mo>&#177;</mo></msup></math>, <math altimg='si5.svg'><msup><mi>K</mi><mo>&#177;</mo></msup></math>, <math altimg='si15.svg'><mi>p</mi></math> and <math altimg='si17.svg'><mover><mrow><mi>p</mi></mrow><mo stretchy='true'>&#8254;</mo></mover></math>) at 27 and 54.4 GeV with the STAR experiment. While at the two higher energy midcentral collisions the number-of-constituent-quark (NCQ) scaling holds, at 3 GeV the <math altimg='si9.svg'><msub><mi>v</mi><mn>2</mn></msub></math> at midrapidity is negative for all hadrons and the NCQ scaling is absent. In addition, the <math altimg='si14.svg'><msub><mi>v</mi><mn>1</mn></msub></math> slopes at midrapidity for almost all observed hadrons are found to be positive, implying dominant repulsive baryonic interactions. The features of negative <math altimg='si9.svg'><msub><mi>v</mi><mn>2</mn></msub></math> and positive <math altimg='si14.svg'><msub><mi>v</mi><mn>1</mn></msub></math> slope at 3 GeV can be reproduced with a baryonic mean-field in transport model calculations. These results imply that the medium in such collisions is likely characterized by baryonic interactions.

Erratum: Disappearance of partonic collectivity in √ <italic>s</italic> <inf>NN</inf> = 3 GeV Au+Au collisions at RHIC [Phys. Lett. B 827, 137003 (2022)]

Measurements of mass and Λ binding energy of <math altimg='si4.svg'><msubsup><mrow /><mrow><mi mathvariant='normal'>&#923;</mi></mrow><mrow><mn>4</mn></mrow></msubsup></math>H and <math altimg='si4.svg'><msubsup><mrow /><mrow><mi mathvariant='normal'>&#923;</mi></mrow><mrow><mn>4</mn></mrow></msubsup></math>He in Au+Au collisions at <math altimg='si5.svg'><msqrt><mrow><msub><mrow><mi>s</mi></mrow><mrow><mi mathvariant='normal'>NN</mi></mrow></msub></mrow></msqrt><mo linebreak='goodbreak' linebreakstyle='after'>=</mo><mn>3</mn></math> GeV are presented, with an aim to address the charge symmetry breaking (CSB) problem in hypernuclei systems with atomic number <italic>A</italic> = 4. The &#923; binding energies are measured to be <math altimg='si6.svg'><mn>2.22</mn><mo>&#177;</mo><mn>0.06</mn></math>(stat.)&#177;0.14(syst.) MeV and <math altimg='si7.svg'><mn>2.38</mn><mo>&#177;</mo><mn>0.13</mn></math>(stat.)&#177;0.12(syst.) MeV for <math altimg='si4.svg'><msubsup><mrow /><mrow><mi mathvariant='normal'>&#923;</mi></mrow><mrow><mn>4</mn></mrow></msubsup></math>H and <math altimg='si4.svg'><msubsup><mrow /><mrow><mi mathvariant='normal'>&#923;</mi></mrow><mrow><mn>4</mn></mrow></msubsup></math>He, respectively. The measured &#923; binding-energy difference is <math altimg='si8.svg'><mn>0.16</mn><mo>&#177;</mo><mn>0.14</mn><mo stretchy='false'>(</mo><mtext>stat</mtext><mo>.</mo><mo stretchy='false'>)</mo><mo>&#177;</mo><mn>0.10</mn><mo stretchy='false'>(</mo><mtext>syst</mtext><mo>.</mo><mo stretchy='false'>)</mo></math> MeV for ground states. Combined with the <italic>&#947;</italic>-ray transition energies, the binding-energy difference for excited states is <math altimg='si9.svg'><mo linebreak='badbreak' linebreakstyle='after'>&#8722;</mo><mn>0.16</mn><mo>&#177;</mo><mn>0.14</mn><mo stretchy='false'>(</mo><mtext>stat</mtext><mo>.</mo><mo stretchy='false'>)</mo><mo>&#177;</mo><mn>0.10</mn><mo stretchy='false'>(</mo><mtext>syst</mtext><mo>.</mo><mo stretchy='false'>)</mo></math> MeV, which is negative and comparable to the value of the ground states within uncertainties. These new measurements on the &#923; binding-energy difference in A = 4 hypernuclei systems are consistent with the theoretical calculations that result in <math altimg='si10.svg'><mi mathvariant='normal'>&#916;</mi><msubsup><mrow><mi mathvariant='normal'>B</mi></mrow><mrow><mi mathvariant='normal'>&#923;</mi></mrow><mrow><mn>4</mn></mrow></msubsup><mo stretchy='false'>(</mo><msubsup><mrow><mn>1</mn></mrow><mrow><mtext>exc</mtext></mrow><mrow><mo linebreak='badbreak' linebreakstyle='after'>+</mo></mrow></msubsup><mo stretchy='false'>)</mo><mo>&#8776;</mo><mo linebreak='goodbreak' linebreakstyle='after'>&#8722;</mo><mi mathvariant='normal'>&#916;</mi><msubsup><mrow><mtext>B</mtext></mrow><mrow><mi mathvariant='normal'>&#923;</mi></mrow><mrow><mn>4</mn></mrow></msubsup><mo stretchy='false'>(</mo><msubsup><mrow><mn>0</mn></mrow><mrow><mtext>g.s.</mtext></mrow><mrow><mo linebreak='badbreak' linebreakstyle='after'>+</mo></mrow></msubsup><mo stretchy='false'>)</mo><mo linebreak='goodbreak' linebreakstyle='after'>&lt;</mo><mn>0</mn></math> and present a new method for the study of CSB effect using relativistic heavy-ion collisions.

Measurement of <math altimg='si1.svg'><mmultiscripts><mrow><mi mathvariant='normal'>H</mi></mrow><mprescripts /><mrow><mi mathvariant='normal'>&#923;</mi></mrow><mrow><mn>4</mn></mrow></mmultiscripts></math> and <math altimg='si2.svg'><mmultiscripts><mrow><mi mathvariant='normal'>He</mi></mrow><mprescripts /><mrow><mi mathvariant='normal'>&#923;</mi></mrow><mrow><mn>4</mn></mrow></mmultiscripts></math> binding energy in Au+Au collisions at <math altimg='si3.svg'><msqrt><mrow><msub><mrow><mi>s</mi></mrow><mrow><mi mathvariant='normal'>NN</mi></mrow></msub></mrow></msqrt></math> = 3 GeV

We report the first multi-differential measurements of strange hadrons of <math><msup><mrow><mi>K</mi></mrow><mrow><mo>−</mo></mrow></msup></math>, ϕ and <math><msup><mrow><mi>Ξ</mi></mrow><mrow><mo>−</mo></mrow></msup></math> yields as well as the ratios of <math><mi>ϕ</mi><mo>/</mo><msup><mrow><mi>K</mi></mrow><mrow><mo>−</mo></mrow></msup></math> and <math><mi>ϕ</mi><mo>/</mo><msup><mrow><mi>Ξ</mi></mrow><mrow><mo>−</mo></mrow></msup></math> in Au+Au collisions at <math><msqrt><mrow><msub><mrow><mi>s</mi></mrow><mrow><mi>NN</mi></mrow></msub></mrow></msqrt><mo>=</mo><mtext>3 GeV</mtext></math> with the STAR experiment fixed target configuration at RHIC. The ϕ mesons and <math><msup><mrow><mi>Ξ</mi></mrow><mrow><mo>−</mo></mrow></msup></math> hyperons are measured through hadronic decay channels, <math><mi>ϕ</mi><mo>→</mo><msup><mrow><mi>K</mi></mrow><mrow><mo>+</mo></mrow></msup><msup><mrow><mi>K</mi></mrow><mrow><mo>−</mo></mrow></msup></math> and <math><msup><mrow><mi>Ξ</mi></mrow><mrow><mo>−</mo></mrow></msup><mo>→</mo><mi>Λ</mi><msup><mrow><mi>π</mi></mrow><mrow><mo>−</mo></mrow></msup></math>. Collision centrality and rapidity dependence of the transverse momentum spectra for these strange hadrons are presented. The 4π yields and ratios are compared to thermal model and hadronic transport model predictions. At this collision energy, thermal model with grand canonical ensemble (GCE) under-predicts the <math><mi>ϕ</mi><mo>/</mo><msup><mrow><mi>K</mi></mrow><mrow><mo>−</mo></mrow></msup></math> and <math><mi>ϕ</mi><mo>/</mo><msup><mrow><mi>Ξ</mi></mrow><mrow><mo>−</mo></mrow></msup></math> ratios while the result of canonical ensemble (CE) calculations reproduce <math><mi>ϕ</mi><mo>/</mo><msup><mrow><mi>K</mi></mrow><mrow><mo>−</mo></mrow></msup></math>, with the correlation length <math><msub><mrow><mi>r</mi></mrow><mrow><mi>c</mi></mrow></msub><mo>∼</mo><mn>2.7</mn></math> fm, and <math><mi>ϕ</mi><mo>/</mo><msup><mrow><mi>Ξ</mi></mrow><mrow><mo>−</mo></mrow></msup></math>, <math><msub><mrow><mi>r</mi></mrow><mrow><mi>c</mi></mrow></msub><mo>∼</mo><mn>4.2</mn></math> fm, for the 0-10% central collisions. Hadronic transport models including high mass resonance decays could also describe the ratios. While thermal calculations with GCE work well for strangeness production in high energy collisions, the change to CE at 3 GeV implies a rather different medium property at high baryon density.
