Using the pinch technique, we determine the one-loop vertices of weak interactions in the B-LSSM and incorporate their pinch contributions into the gauge boson self-energies. Compared to the definitions of the $\textit{S}$, $\textit{T}$, and $\textit{U}$ parameters in the Standard Model based on the $S U(2)_L \otimes U(1)_Y$ group, the corresponding parameters in the local B-L gauge symmetry (B-LSSM) are modified. We present these redefined $\textit{S}$, $\textit{T}$, and $\textit{U}$ parameters and demonstrate the convergence of the results. In the framework of the low-energy effective Lagrangian for weak interactions, the $\textit{S}$, $\textit{T}$, and $\textit{U}$ parameters can be expressed as functions of specific parameters in the B-LSSM. The updated experimental and fitting results strongly constrain the parameter space of the B-LSSM.

A modified gravitational model whose action is given by an arbitrary function of the Ricci scalar, the matter Lagrangian density, a scalar field, and its kinetic term is investigated as an extension of the gravitational sector including an additional dynamical degree of freedom. Within this framework, the causal structure of rotating cosmological solutions is analyzed by considering Gödel and Gödel-type spacetimes as background geometries used as theoretical probes of the model consistency. Different matter sources are examined, including a perfect fluid and scalar-field configurations. It is found that the standard Gödel metric is not compatible with the scalar sector of the theory unless the model reduces to the General Relativity limit. In contrast, Gödel-type geometries admit a wider class of solutions whose causal properties depend on the model parameters and on the matter content. In particular, perfect-fluid sources may lead to either causal or noncausal configurations, whereas scalar-field configurations constrain the geometry to the causal limit, preventing the formation of closed timelike curves, highlighting that the scalar field plays a nontrivial dynamical role distinct from that of a cosmological constant.

Causality and its violation in $$f(R,\mathcal {L}_m,\phi ,g^{\mu \nu }\nabla _\mu \phi \nabla _\nu \phi )$$ gravity

We analyze the Macdonald’s ($\textit{q}$, $\textit{t}$)-deformed hypergeometric functions with one and two set variables and present their constraints. We prove the uniqueness to the solutions of these constraints. We propose a concise method to prove the superintegrability relations for ($\textit{q}$, $\textit{t}$)-deformed matrix models, where the constraints of hypergeometric functions play a crucial role. A conjectured superintegrability relation in the literature for the refined Chern–Simons model can be easily proved by our method. Moreover, we construct a general ($\textit{q}$, $\textit{t}$)-deformed matrix model. We give the constraint conditions for parameters in the integral. The superintegrability relations for the ($\textit{q}$, $\textit{t}$)-deformed integrals with allowed parameters are derived from the hypergeometric constraints.

Superintegrability for some ($\textit{q}$, $\textit{t}$)-deformed matrix models

In this paper, we investigate static, spherically symmetric traversable wormholes in the framework of symmetric teleparallel <italic>f</italic>( <italic>Q, T</italic>) gravity by considering the linear model <math altimg='si5.svg'><mrow><mi>f</mi><mo>(</mo><mi>Q</mi><mo>,</mo><mi>T</mi><mo>)</mo><mo>=</mo><mi>&#945;</mi><mi>Q</mi><mo linebreak='goodbreak'>+</mo><mi>&#946;</mi><mi>T</mi></mrow></math>. By assuming a constant redshift function to describe zero tidal force geometries, we derive the corresponding field equations and obtain an analytic solution for the shape function by adopting a radially dependent equation of state of the form <math altimg='si6.svg'><mrow><msub><mi>p</mi><mi>r</mi></msub><mo linebreak='goodbreak'>+</mo><mi>&#969;</mi><mrow><mo>(</mo><mi>r</mi><mo>)</mo></mrow><mi>&#961;</mi><mo linebreak='goodbreak'>=</mo><mn>0</mn></mrow></math>, with <math altimg='si7.svg'><mrow><mi>&#969;</mi><mrow><mo>(</mo><mi>r</mi><mo>)</mo></mrow><mo linebreak='goodbreak'>=</mo><mi>A</mi><msup><mi>r</mi><mi>n</mi></msup></mrow></math>, where <italic>A</italic>&#8239;&gt;&#8239;0 and <italic>n</italic>&#8239;&gt;&#8239;0 are constants. The resulting wormhole configuration satisfies the fundamental geometric requirements, including the throat condition, the flare&#8211;out condition, and asymptotic flatness. The energy density remains positive and decreases with radius, while the null energy condition is violated only in the radial direction near the throat, indicating a localized exotic matter region. A Tolman&#8211;Oppenheimer&#8211;Volkoff analysis confirms that equilibrium is achieved through the balance between hydrostatic and anisotropic forces. Furthermore, the volume integral quantifier shows that the total amount of NEC&#8211;violating matter can be made arbitrarily small and confined close to the throat. The embedding diagrams support the geometric consistency of the solution. These results indicate that linear <italic>f</italic>( <italic>Q, T</italic>) gravity with a variable equation of state admits viable traversable wormhole solutions with minimized exotic matter content.

Static traversable wormholes supported by a variable equation of state in <italic>f</italic>( <italic>Q, T</italic>) gravity

We consider type IIB string theory on AdS × $\textit{S}$ /ℤ orbifold spaces with generic $\textit{L}$. Recent localisation results in the dual 4d $$ \mathcal{N}=2 $$ circular quiver gauge theories provide us with strong coupling expansions of certain correlators involving twisted half-BPS operators. To leading order, these results have been matched to an effective theory for massless twisted string states, which can be constructed by resolving the orbifold singularity and considering localised supergravity modes on the resolution cycles. Applying this reasoning to subleading order in strong coupling, we observe that for $\textit{L}$ ≠ 2, 3, 4, 6, a naive reduction of the 10d ($\textit{α′}$) -correction does not result in the correct coefficients to match the localisation result. We explain this mismatch by the appearance of twisted sector resonances in string amplitudes involving external twisted sector states. We perform the low-energy expansion of a “twisted” Virasoro-Shapiro amplitude and recover the expected coefficients, suggesting that the orbifold resolution and the low-energy expansion can not be interchanged directly. Finally, we comment on the long-quiver limit, $\textit{L}$ → ∞, in the context of the low-energy effective action.

Exploring the twisted sector of ℤ $\textit{L}$ orbifolds: matching $\textit{α′}$-corrections to localisation

<p>We report a search for an invisible particle <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mi>X</mi></math> in the decay <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mrow><msubsup><mrow><mi>K</mi></mrow><mrow><mi>L</mi></mrow><mrow><mn>0</mn></mrow></msubsup><mo stretchy="false">→</mo><mi>γ</mi><mi>X</mi></mrow></math> (<math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mi>X</mi><mo stretchy="false">→</mo><mtext>invisible</mtext></math>), where <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mi>X</mi></math> can be interpreted as a massless or massive dark photon. No evidence for <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mi>X</mi></math> was found, based on 13 candidate events consistent with a predicted background of <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mrow><mn>12.66</mn><mo>±</mo><mn>4.4</mn><msub><mrow><mn>2</mn></mrow><mrow><mi>stat</mi></mrow></msub><mo>±</mo><mn>2.1</mn><msub><mrow><mn>3</mn></mrow><mrow><mi>syst</mi></mrow></msub></mrow></math> events. Upper limits on the branching ratio of <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><msubsup><mi>K</mi><mi>L</mi><mn>0</mn></msubsup><mo stretchy="false">→</mo><mi>γ</mi><mi>X</mi></math> were set for the <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mi>X</mi></math> mass range <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mrow><mn>0</mn><mo>≤</mo><msub><mrow><mi>m</mi></mrow><mrow><mi>X</mi></mrow></msub><mo>≤</mo><mn>425</mn><mtext> </mtext><mtext> </mtext><mi>MeV</mi><mo>/</mo><msup><mrow><mi>c</mi></mrow><mrow><mn>2</mn></mrow></msup></mrow></math>. For massless <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mi>X</mi></math>, the upper limit was <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mn>3.4</mn><mo>×</mo><msup><mn>10</mn><mrow><mo>−</mo><mn>7</mn></mrow></msup></math> at the 90% confidence level, improving the previous indirect bound by over three orders of magnitude. This result yielded a new lower bound of <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mn>4.1</mn><mo>×</mo><msup><mn>10</mn><mn>6</mn></msup><mtext> </mtext><mtext> </mtext><mi>TeV</mi></math> on the probed effective mass scale governing flavor-changing dark-photon couplings, representing approximately two orders of magnitude improvement on existing constraints. For massive <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mi>X</mi></math>, the upper limits in the searched mass region ranged from <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mi mathvariant="script">O</mi><mo stretchy="false">(</mo><msup><mn>10</mn><mrow><mo>−</mo><mn>7</mn></mrow></msup><mo stretchy="false">)</mo></math> to <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mi mathvariant="script">O</mi><mo stretchy="false">(</mo><msup><mn>10</mn><mrow><mo>−</mo><mn>3</mn></mrow></msup><mo stretchy="false">)</mo></math>.</p>

Search for Dark Particles in <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mrow><msubsup><mrow><mi>K</mi></mrow><mrow><mi>L</mi></mrow><mrow><mn>0</mn></mrow></msubsup><mo stretchy="false">→</mo><mi>γ</mi><mi>X</mi></mrow></math> at the KOTO Experiment

We continue the investigation of symmetries and anomalies of $\textit{T}$[$\textit{M}$] theories obtained by compactifying 6d SCFTs on an internal manifold $\textit{M}$. We extend the notion of “polarizations on a manifold $\textit{M}$” to cases where $\textit{M}$ may have boundaries or defects. Through examples with $\textit{M}$ of dimension two, three, and four, we illustrate recurring themes in compactifications — for instance, the important roles played by Kaluza-Klein modes, and how the generalized symmetries (including higher-group and non-invertible ones) of $\textit{T}$[$\textit{M}$], together with their anomalies, arise from non-trivial combinations of the parent 6d symmetries and the geometric structures of the internal manifold. For each dimension, we also focus on several topics that are especially interesting in that setting. These include: for 2-manifolds, the geometry of the “full moduli space” of $\textit{T}$[$\textit{M}$ ] and its interaction with polarizations and symmetries; for 3-manifolds, the effect of torsion in homology on the spectrum of line operators in $\textit{T}$[$\textit{M}$ ], together with applications to the study of quantum invariants such as $$ {\hat{Z}}_a\left({M}_3,q\right) $$ ; and for 4-manifolds, predictions for VOA[$\textit{M}$ ] following from symmetries of $\textit{T}$[$\textit{M}$ ], as well as the construction of a new invariant of 4-manifolds that depends on two “$\textit{q}$-parameters.” Along the way, we discuss a range of topics that are of independent interest, such as how non-invertible symmetries in higher dimensions can become invertible under compactification, how to classify defects in quantum field theory via their response to a change of framing, and the interplay between $$ {\hat{Z}}_a $$ and volume conjectures.

Generalized global symmetries of $\textit{T}$[$\textit{M}$] theories. Part II

We study Schwinger-Keldysh effective field theories (EFTs) for systems with non-Abelian internal symmetries near thermal equilibrium. We consider two approaches that were put forward in the literature — one using a redundant Goldstone parameterization, the other employing an adjoint matter field — and demonstrate their complete equivalence by providing an explicit dictionary and proving their equivalence at the path integral level. Critically, we extend both formalisms to be compatible with the dynamical Kubo-Martin-Schwinger (DKMS) symmetry to all orders in ℏ$\textit{ω}$/$\textit{T}$, classifying all possible invariant kernels satisfying unitarity constraints. We also establish precise power-counting rules, clarifying the interplay between the semiclassical and hydrodynamic expansions. Our work provides a framework for studying non-Abelian charge transport and fluctuations to arbitrary orders in ℏ$\textit{ω}$/$\textit{T}$.

Schwinger-Keldysh effective theory of charge transport: redundancies and systematic $\textit{ω}$/$\textit{T}$ expansion

We present a leading colour computation of the double virtual contributions to top-quark pair production in association with a jet at a hadron collider at next-to-next-to-leading order in QCD. The finite remainders of the two-loop amplitudes, after subtraction of infrared and ultraviolet divergences, are extracted analytically from evaluations over finite fields by using a (potentially) overcomplete basis of special functions defined through their differential equations. We construct the colour- and spin-summed interference with the tree-level amplitudes and present a C++ library suitable for immediate use in phenomenological studies. We present new techniques for the evaluation of the special functions through direct numerical integration of differential equations which perform well across the full physical phase space.

Double virtual QCD corrections to $$ t\overline{t} $$ +jet production at the LHC

<p>The decay of light bosonic dark matter particles can produce a bright electron/positron (<math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><msup><mi>e</mi><mo>+</mo></msup><msup><mi>e</mi><mo>−</mo></msup></math>) flux that can be strongly constrained by local Voyager observations of the direct <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><msup><mi>e</mi><mo>+</mo></msup><msup><mi>e</mi><mo>−</mo></msup></math> flux, as well as 511 keV line and x-ray continuum observations of <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><msup><mi>e</mi><mo>+</mo></msup><msup><mi>e</mi><mo>−</mo></msup></math> emission. We carefully analyze the <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><msup><mi>e</mi><mo>+</mo></msup><msup><mi>e</mi><mo>−</mo></msup></math> yield and resulting cosmic ray and x-ray spectra from theoretically well-motivated light dark matter models, including (a) electrophilic axion-like particles, (b) dark photons, (c) scalars, and (d) <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mi>B</mi><mo>−</mo><mi>L</mi></math> and <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><msub><mi>L</mi><mi>i</mi></msub><mo>−</mo><msub><mi>L</mi><mi>j</mi></msub></math> vector bosons. We use the morphology and spectrum of the INTEGRAL 511 keV line data, the eROSITA x-ray continuum spectrum and the Voyager <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><msup><mi>e</mi><mo>+</mo></msup><msup><mi>e</mi><mo>−</mo></msup></math> spectrum to constrain the decay lifetime and coupling of each dark matter model. We find that 511 keV observations typically set world-leading limits on bosonic dark matter decay below masses of <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mo>∼</mo><mn>1</mn><mtext> </mtext><mtext> </mtext><mi>GeV</mi></math>, while eROSITA observations provide the strongest constraints in the range from 1–10 GeV. Finally, we forecast future limits from 21 cm line searches with next-generation HERA data.</p>
