We study cubic interactions of $$ \mathcal{N} $$ = 2 massless integer-spin gauge supermultiplets in harmonic superspace. We construct the complete class of abelian ( , , ) cubic vertices with the minimal number of space-time derivatives. Such vertices exist only for ≥ + and universally take the form of the gauge prepotential coupled to the conserved higher-spin supercurrent. For ≠ , we find the novel complex principal supercurrent, whose real and imaginary parts generate the parity-invariant and the parity-breaking interactions, respectively. The supercurrents are constructed from gauge-invariant $$ \mathcal{N} $$ = 2 higher-spin Weyl supertensors associated with the spin- and spin- gauge multiplets. These supertensors are defined in terms of unconstrained higher-spin analytic prepotentials. We also derive the complete set of conserved component higher-spin currents associated with the ($\textit{s}$, $\textit{s}$ , $\textit{s}$ ) vertices, including both traceless currents and currents with the non-vanishing trace.

Novel $$ \mathcal{N} $$ = 2 higher-spin supercurrents

We use vNRQCD to study power corrections in the v expansion due to soft gluon radiation during $\textit{J/ψ}$ production at small transverse momentum. We categorize four new $\textit{J/ψ}$ production operators that mediate the transition of perturbatively produced color-octet charm quark/anti-quark pairs to charm quarks in a $${}^{3}{S}_{1}^{\left[1\right]}$$ state via soft gluon emission. We then use Soft Collinear Effective Theory and vNRQCD to derive a factorization theorem for $\textit{J/ψ}$ production in SIDIS in terms of the gluon transverse momentum dependent (TMD) PDFs in the proton and new objects which we call TMD soft transition functions. We show that the TMD soft transition function leads in the v power-counting with respect to the color-octet TMD shape functions that have been used in previous studies of $\textit{J/ψ}$ production at small transverse momentum.

The role of the soft scale for $\textit{J/ψ}$ production in the transverse momentum dependent framework

More than one dark sector particle transforming under the same symmetry provides one stable dark matter (DM) component, which undergoes coannihilation with the heavier particle(s) decaying to DM. Specific assumptions on the kinematics and on the coupling parameters may render the heavier component(s) stable and contribute as DM. The choices of the charges of the dark sector fields under transformation play a crucial role in the resultant phenomenology. In this paper, we systematically address the possibility of obtaining two scalar DM components under <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><msub><mi mathvariant="script">Z</mi><mi>N</mi></msub></math> symmetry. We consider both the possibilities of DM being weakly interacting massive particles (WIMPs) or pseudofeebly interacting massive particles (pFIMPs). We elaborate upon the <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><msub><mi mathvariant="script">Z</mi><mn>3</mn></msub></math> symmetric model, confronting the relic density-allowed parameter space with the recent most direct and indirect search bounds and prospects. We also highlight the possible distinction of the allowed parameter space in single component and two-component cases as well as between WIMP-WIMP and WIMP-pFIMP scenarios.

Multiparticle scalar dark matter with <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><msub><mi mathvariant="script">Z</mi><mi>N</mi></msub></math> symmetry

We propose a reformulation of the conformal perturbation theory of the correlation functions in $$J\overline{J }$$ -deformed CFTs as a dressing on the deformed operators, that matches both bare and renormalized perturbation theory. The key is to use the Riemann bilinear identity to convert the deformation into a dressing and a large-cycle integral for higher genus. Based on the proposal, we calculate the deformation of partition functions on the torus and higher genus Riemann surfaces, which can be written as kernel integrals that preserve modular invariance or covariance. We also calculate the flow of the conformal weights and conserved charges along the deformation. Based on this flow and the modular $\textit{S}$-transformation, we propose a criterion for constructing dressed operators. We test our formalism and results by studying the $\textit{O}$(2$\textit{,}$ 2) theories and strings on the TsT background.

$$J\overline{J }$$ -deformation as a riemann bilinear dressing

We show that the classical Batalin-Vilkovisky cohomology at negative ghost number of the spinning particle, observed in ref. [1], is removed by a Koszul-Tate resolution involving saturation of Grassmann odd variables. The model thus satisfies the axioms of Felder and Kazhdan. The AKSZ formulation of the resolved model is described. We reveal partial information on the resolution of the constrained phase space, which involves resolving the parity-shifted tangent sheaf of the light-cône. Specialising to dimension one, we describe the full resolution.

Classical BV cohomology of the $\textit{N}$ = 1 spinning particle

We study the giant graviton integrated correlator in <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mrow><mi>SU</mi><mo stretchy="false">(</mo><mi>N</mi><mo stretchy="false">)</mo></mrow></math> <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mi mathvariant="script">N</mi><mo>=</mo><mn>4</mn></math> super-Yang-Mills at finite complexified coupling <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mi>τ</mi></math>. Despite the formidable complexity arising from the heavy nature of the operators considered, the large-<math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mi>N</mi></math> expansion simplifies dramatically and exhibits manifest modular invariance. At each order in <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mn>1</mn><mo>/</mo><mi>N</mi></math>, the expansion coefficients are linear combinations of nonholomorphic Eisenstein series, thus capturing the full spectrum of perturbative and nonperturbative effects in the Yang-Mills coupling. Furthermore, we find additional contributions, which are modular functions exponentially suppressed in <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mi>N</mi></math>. In the ’t Hooft limit, this yields an all-orders result in the <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mn>1</mn><mo>/</mo><mi>N</mi></math> expansion at arbitrary coupling <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mi>λ</mi></math>, extending beyond prior results of leading orders. For the <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mrow><mi mathvariant="normal">U</mi><mo stretchy="false">(</mo><mi>N</mi><mo stretchy="false">)</mo></mrow></math> theory, we obtain a closed-form expression valid for all <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mi>N</mi></math> and <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mi>τ</mi></math> and show that the coupling-dependent sector of the large-<math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mi>N</mi></math> expansion is universal between <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mrow><mi>SU</mi><mo stretchy="false">(</mo><mi>N</mi><mo stretchy="false">)</mo></mrow></math> and <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mrow><mi mathvariant="normal">U</mi><mo stretchy="false">(</mo><mi>N</mi><mo stretchy="false">)</mo></mrow></math> to all orders. Crucially, we exploit the integrated correlator constraints and determine the giant graviton correlator itself to two-loop order at finite <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mi>N</mi></math>, previously only accessible in the planar limit.

Giant Graviton Integrated Correlators at Finite Coupling and All Orders in <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mn>1</mn><mo>/</mo><mi>N</mi></math>

Using bootstrap methods, we provide evidence for the existence of a non-linear W-algebra, denoted $$ {\mathcal{W}}_{\infty}^{\mathrm{s},\mathrm{s}} $$ , which contains the $\textit{small}$ $$ \mathcal{N} $$ = 4 super Virasoro algebra and features an infinite tower of additional generators, organized in $\textit{short}$ supersymmetry multiplets. The algebra $$ {\mathcal{W}}_{\infty}^{\mathrm{s},\mathrm{s}} $$ has one free parameter, its central charge $\textit{c}$. We claim that the simple quotient of $$ {\mathcal{W}}_{\infty}^{\mathrm{s},\mathrm{s}} $$ for $\textit{c}$ = –3($\textit{N}$ – 1) is isomorphic to the vertex operator algebra associated to 4d $$ \mathcal{N} $$ = 4 $$ \mathfrak{su}(N) $$ super Yang-Mills theory. We define a filtration in $$ {\mathcal{W}}_{\infty}^{\mathrm{s},\mathrm{s}} $$ and provide evidence that it reproduces the $\textit{R}$-filtration, which is crucial to extract 4d SCFT data from the vertex operator algebra. Finally, we present explicit formulae for all the (anti)commutators of the wedge algebra of $$ {\mathcal{W}}_{\infty}^{\mathrm{s},\mathrm{s}} $$ .

A universal W-algebra for $$ \mathcal{N} $$ = 4 super Yang-Mills

We revisit the constrained log-subtracted two-point Padé (LSTP) ensemble for thermal $$\mathcal {N}{=}4$$ supersymmetric Yang-Mills (SYM) thermodynamics in four spacetime dimensions after upgrading the weak-coupling truncation from $$\mathcal {O}(\lambda ^2)$$ to the exact $$\mathcal {O}(\lambda ^{5/2})$$ coefficient. We keep the LSTP interpolation ansatz unchanged and shift the weak-side matching points to the regime where the new term is numerically significant. Within the same parameter scan the admissible set collapses from 9 nominal survivors (3 distinct curves) to a single distinct curve, the crossover range shrinks to a unique value, and the pointwise band width drops to zero within numerical resolution. The Hermite-Padé (HP) central curve does not coincide with the unique LSTP survivor, so the updated weak-side matching removes the LSTP scan uncertainty but not the difference between the two routes. The minimal HP extension that also carries the exact coefficient is uniquely determined and develops a spurious pole-zero pair at small coupling. Away from that pair the HP and LSTP curves still differ, so this difference persists at the same weak-coupling order.

Constrained Padé ensembles for thermal $$\mathcal {N}{=}~4$$ SYM with the exact $$\mathcal {O}(\lambda ^{5/2})$$ coefficient

We construct new multiparticle models of <math altimg='si2.svg'><mrow><mi mathvariant='script'>N</mi><mo linebreak='goodbreak'>=</mo><mn>4</mn></mrow></math> supersymmetric mechanics with spin degrees of freedom by employing nonlinear indecomposable supermultiplets <math altimg='si3.svg'><mrow><mo>(</mo><mn mathvariant='bold'>1</mn><mo>,</mo><mn mathvariant='bold'>4</mn><mo>,</mo><mn mathvariant='bold'>3</mn><mo>)</mo><mspace width='0.16em' /><mrow><mo>&#8835;</mo><mo>+</mo></mrow><mspace width='0.16em' /><mo>(</mo><mn mathvariant='bold'>4</mn><mo>,</mo><mn mathvariant='bold'>4</mn><mo>,</mo><mn mathvariant='bold'>0</mn><mo>)</mo></mrow></math>. These systems are proper deformations of those associated with the standard irreducible <math altimg='si4.svg'><mrow><mi>d</mi><mo linebreak='goodbreak'>=</mo><mn>1</mn></mrow></math>, <math altimg='si2.svg'><mrow><mi mathvariant='script'>N</mi><mo linebreak='goodbreak'>=</mo><mn>4</mn></mrow></math> multiplets. In this way we find a deformation of <math altimg='si2.svg'><mrow><mi mathvariant='script'>N</mi><mo linebreak='goodbreak'>=</mo><mn>4</mn></mrow></math> supersymmetric U(2)-spin rational Calogero system invariant under <math altimg='si4.svg'><mrow><mi>d</mi><mo linebreak='goodbreak'>=</mo><mn>1</mn></mrow></math> superconformal group OSp(4|2). One more deformed model reproduces <math altimg='si2.svg'><mrow><mi mathvariant='script'>N</mi><mo linebreak='goodbreak'>=</mo><mn>4</mn></mrow></math> supersymmetric U(2)-spin hyperbolic Calogero system, up to a shift of the Hamiltonian by some U(1) generators. <italic>In Memory of Jerzy Lukierski (1936 &#8211; 2026)</italic>

The resonating group method (RGM) is widely used to investigate baryon-baryon interactions at the quark level, typically under the assumption that the two baryons involved share an identical harmonic oscillator frequency. In reality, however, when a specific interaction Hamiltonian is given, different baryons should have unequal oscillator frequencies due to distinct interaction potentials induced by their different quantum numbers. In this work, we develop a new quark-level RGM formalism for baryon-baryon systems with unequal oscillator frequencies, with the aim of providing a unified and consistent framework for describing both single-baryon properties and baryon-baryon interactions. We present the formalism for solving bound-state and scattering problems, with particular emphasis on constructing the wave functions of two-baryon systems with unequal oscillator frequencies. The proposed formalism is then applied to the <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mi>N</mi><mi mathvariant="normal">Δ</mi></math> system within a chiral SU(3) quark model, where the quark-quark interaction includes, in addition to the one-gluon exchange and a phenomenological confinement potential, the nonet scalar and pseudoscalar meson exchanges arising from the spontaneous breaking of chiral SU(3) symmetry. The distinctive features of the newly developed formalism are demonstrated by comparing the results from the new formulation with those from traditional calculations.
