We perform a theoretical study of the weak decay $$\Lambda _c^+ \rightarrow \bar{K}^0 \eta p$$ using a coupled-channel chiral unitary approach that incorporates both pseudoscalar-baryon and vector-baryon interactions. Our framework includes contributions from both internal and external weak emission mechanisms, as well as strong final state interactions. We assume that the $$N^*(1535)$$ and $$N^*(1650)$$ resonances are dynamically generated through meson-baryon scattering and they appear as distinct structures in the $$\eta p$$ invariant mass distributions. A clear peak also appears in the $$\bar{K}^0 p$$ invariant mass distribution around 1620 MeV, associated with the dynamically generated $$\Sigma (1620)$$ resonance. Notably, this work provides the first theoretical description of the simultaneous observation of these two related $$N^*$$ resonances in the same meson-baryon final state. Our results highlight the crucial role of final state interaction and the interplay between different weak decay topologies in shaping the resonance patterns. These findings offer new insights into the nature of nucleon excitations and support the interpretation of $$N^*(1535)$$ and $$N^*(1650)$$ as dynamically generated states. Moreover, the identification of the $$\Sigma (1620)$$ further supports the picture of hadronic molecular structures emerging from meson-baryon interactions in the non-perturbative QCD regime.

Revisiting the $$\Lambda _c^+\rightarrow \bar{K}^0\eta p$$ reaction: the role of $$N^*(1535),$$ $$N^*(1650)$$ and $$\Sigma (1620)$$

<p>The study of collinear behavior for gauge theories in the spacelike region is of great phenomenological and theoretical importance. We analytically calculate the two-loop spacelike splitting amplitude for the full color <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mrow><mi mathvariant="script">N</mi><mo>=</mo><mn>4</mn></mrow></math> super-Yang-Mills theory. The result is derived by two complementary methods starting from the known amplitude: one is based on a discontinuity analysis, while the other one is based on calculating Feynman integrals analytically in the collinear limit. Our result explicitly shows terms that violate naive factorization. However we show that factorization is restored at the level of color-summed unpolarized squared amplitudes at next-to-next-to-next-to leading order. We conjecture that the two-loop tripole terms in the generalized splitting amplitudes in quantum chromodynamics are identical to what we obtain in <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mi mathvariant="script">N</mi><mo>=</mo><mn>4</mn></math> super Yang-Mills theory.</p>

Two-loop spacelike splitting amplitude for <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mrow><mi mathvariant="script">N</mi><mo>=</mo><mn>4</mn></mrow></math> Super-Yang-Mills theory

Motivated by the problem of multi-twist operators in general CFTs, we study the leading-twist states of the $\textit{N}$-body problem in AdS at large spin $\textit{J}$. We find that for the majority of states the effective quantum-mechanical problem becomes semiclassical with ℏ = 1/$\textit{J}$. The classical system at $\textit{J}$ = $\textit{∞}$ has $\textit{N}$ − 2 degrees of freedom, and the classical phase space is identified with the positive Grassmannian Gr (2, $\textit{N}$). The quantum problem is recovered via a Berezin-Toeplitz quantization of a classical Hamiltonian, which we describe explicitly. For $\textit{N}$ = 3 the classical system has one degree of freedom and a detailed structure of the spectrum can be obtained from Bohr-Sommerfeld conditions. For all $\textit{N}$, we show that the lowest excited states are approximated by a harmonic oscillator and find explicit expressions for their energies.

AdS $\textit{N}$-body problem at large spin

Large-scale organic liquid scintillator detectors are highly efficient in the detection of MeV-scale electron antineutrinos. These signal events can be detected through inverse beta decay on protons, which produce a positron accompanied by a neutron. A noteworthy background for antineutrinos coming from nuclear power reactors and from the depths of the Earth (geoneutrinos) is generated by ( $$\alpha ,\,n$$ ) reactions. In organic liquid scintillator detectors, $$\alpha $$ particles emitted from intrinsic contaminants such as $$^{238}$$ U, $$^{232}$$ Th, and $$^{210}$$ Pb/ $$^{210}$$ Po, can be captured on $$^{13}$$ C nuclei, followed by the emission of a MeV-scale neutron. Three distinct interaction mechanisms can produce prompt energy depositions preceding the delayed neutron capture, leading to a pair of events correlated in space and time within the detector. Thus, ( $$\alpha ,\,n$$ ) reactions represent an indistinguishable background in liquid scintillator-based antineutrino detectors, where their expected rate and energy spectrum are typically evaluated via Monte Carlo simulations. This work presents results from the open-source SaG4n software, used to calculate the expected energy depositions from the neutron and any associated de-excitation products. Also simulated is a detailed detector response to these interactions, using a dedicated Geant4-based simulation software from the JUNO experiment. An expected measurable $$^{13}$$ C $$(\alpha ,\,n)^{16}$$ O event rate and reconstructed prompt energy spectrum with associated uncertainties, are presented in the context of JUNO, however, the methods and results are applicable and relevant to other organic liquid scintillator neutrino detectors.

Simulation of the background from $$^{13}$$ C $$(\alpha ,\,n)^{16}$$ O reaction in the JUNO scintillator

Multi-loop scattering amplitudes are difficult to evaluate due to singularities of the integrals involved, especially with increasing number of loops, external legs, and mass scales. For the first time for hadronic collisions at two loops, we enable the combined numerical integration over loop momentum and phase space by tackling infrared, ultraviolet and threshold singularities simultaneously using local subtractions. We demonstrate the feasibility of our approach by calculating previously unknown perturbative corrections for processes of interest to the Large Hadron Collider, namely the $\textit{N}$ -part of the finite remainder of the phase-space integrated virtual corrections at next-to-next-to-leading order (NNLO) in QCD for the production of up to three massive electroweak vector bosons in proton-proton collisions.

<p>Quantum simulations of lattice gauge theories offer the potential to directly study the nonperturbative dynamics of quantum chromodynamics, but naive analyses suggest that they require large computational resources. Large <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><msub><mi>N</mi><mi>c</mi></msub></math> expansions are performed to order <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mn>1</mn><mo>/</mo><msub><mi>N</mi><mi>c</mi></msub></math> to simplify the Hamiltonian of pure <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mrow><mi>SU</mi><mo stretchy="false">(</mo><msub><mrow><mi>N</mi></mrow><mrow><mi>c</mi></mrow></msub><mo stretchy="false">)</mo></mrow></math> lattice gauge theories. A reformulation of the electric basis is introduced with a truncation strategy based on the construction of local Krylov subspaces with plaquette operators. Numerical simulations show that these truncated Hamiltonians are consistent with traditional lattice calculations at relatively small couplings. It is shown that the computational resources required for quantum simulation of time evolution generated by these Hamiltonians is 17–19 orders of magnitude smaller than previous approaches, provided that the truncations in this work can reach lattice spacings in three-dimensional simulations comparable to the two-dimensional simulations performed.</p>

Thermofield theory of large $\textit{N}$ matrix models

In this article, we firstly analyze the mass and pole residue of negative parity nucleon $$N^*(1535)$$ within the two-point QCD sum rules. Basing on these results, we continuously study the strong coupling constants of vertices $$\Lambda _cDN^*$$ , $$\Lambda _cD^*N^*$$ , $$\Lambda _bBN^*$$ and $$\Lambda _bB^*N^*$$ in the framework of three-point QCD sum rules. At hadron side, all possible couplings of interpolating current to hadronic states are considered. At QCD side, the contributions of vacuum condensate terms $$\langle \bar{q}q\rangle $$ , $$\langle g_s^2GG\rangle $$ , $$\langle \bar{q} g_s\sigma Gq\rangle $$ , $$\langle \bar{q}q\rangle ^2$$ and $$g_s^2\langle \bar{q}q\rangle ^2$$ are also considered. By setting the four momentum of $$D^{(*)}[B^{(*)}]$$ mesons off-shell, the strong coupling constants in deep space-like regions ( $$Q^2=-q^2\gg \Lambda _{QCD}^2$$ ) are obtained. Then, the momentum dependent coupling constants in space-like regions are fitted into analytical function $$G(Q^2)$$ and are extrapolated into time-like regions ( $$Q^2<0$$ ). Finally, the on-shell values of strong coupling constants are obtained by taking $$Q^{2}=-m_{D^{(*)}[B^{(*)}]}^2$$ . The results are $$G_{\Lambda _cDN^*}(Q^2=-m_D^2)=4.06^{+0.96}_{-0.75}$$ , $$f_{\Lambda _cD^*N^*}(Q^2=-m_{D^*}^2)=3.73^{+0.68}_{-0.16}$$ , $$g_{\Lambda _cD^*N^*}(Q^2=-m_{D^*}^2)=9.22^{+3.16}_{-0.36}$$ , $$G_{\Lambda _bBN^*}(Q^2=-m_B^2)=9.11^{+1.54}_{-1.61}$$ , $$f_{\Lambda _bB^*N^*}(Q^2=-m_{B^*}^2)=8.55^{+2.69}_{-2.21}$$ and $$g_{\Lambda _bB^*N^*}(Q^2=-m_{B^*}^2)=-\,0.25^{+0.16}_{-0.01}$$ .

Analysis of the strong vertices $$\Lambda _cD^{(*)}N^*(1535)$$ and $$\Lambda _bB^{(*)}N^*(1535)$$ in QCD sum rules

We present a new particle model that describes the dynamics of a <math altimg='si3.svg'><mrow><mn>4</mn><mi>D</mi><mo>,</mo></mrow></math> <math altimg='si4.svg'><mrow><mi mathvariant='script'>N</mi><mo linebreak='goodbreak'>=</mo><mspace width='0.16em' /><mn>1</mn></mrow></math> continuous spin particle in <math altimg='si5.svg'><mrow><mi>A</mi><mi>d</mi><msub><mi>S</mi><mn>4</mn></msub></mrow></math> superspace and is a generalization of the continuous-spin superparticle model in flat <math altimg='si1.svg'><mrow><mn>4</mn><mi>D</mi></mrow></math>, <math altimg='si4.svg'><mrow><mi mathvariant='script'>N</mi><mo linebreak='goodbreak'>=</mo><mspace width='0.16em' /><mn>1</mn></mrow></math> superspace proposed in <monospace>2506.19709 [hep-th]</monospace>. The model is described by <math altimg='si1.svg'><mrow><mn>4</mn><mi>D</mi></mrow></math>, <math altimg='si4.svg'><mrow><mi mathvariant='script'>N</mi><mo linebreak='goodbreak'>=</mo><mspace width='0.16em' /><mn>1</mn></mrow></math> superspace coordinates together with commuting spinor additional variables, which are inherent ingredients of continuous spin models. The Lagrangian and the system of four bosonic and four fermionic phase space constraints are derived. The consistency condition for constraints imposes a restriction on supergeometry to be <math altimg='si6.svg'><mrow><mi>A</mi><mi>d</mi><mi>S</mi></mrow></math> superpace. It is shown that the bosonic constraints are first-class constraints. A covariant procedure based on the use of additional variables is developed to divide the four fermionic constraints into first and second classes. It is proved that, unlike the flat case, only one fermionic constraint is a first-class constraint, while the other three are second-class constraints. In the flat limit, one of these second-class constraints becomes a first-class one.

Continuous spin superparticle in <math altimg='si1.svg'><mrow><mn>4</mn><mi>D</mi></mrow></math>, <math altimg='si2.svg'><mrow><mi mathvariant='script'>N</mi><mo linebreak='goodbreak'>=</mo><mn>1</mn></mrow></math> curved superspace

The N-B-LSSM is an extension of the minimal supersymmetric Standard Model (MSSM) with the addition of three singlet new Higgs superfields and right-handed neutrinos, whose local gauge group is $$SU(3)_C\times SU(2)_L\times U(1)_Y\times U(1)_{B-L}.$$ In the N-B-LSSM, we study lepton flavor violating decays $$l_j\rightarrow l_i\gamma ,$$ $$l_j \rightarrow 3l_i$$ and $$\mu \rightarrow e+ q\bar{q}$$ $$(j=\tau ,\mu ,~i=\mu ,e$$ and $$i\ne j).$$ Based on the current experimental limits, we carry out detailed parameter scanning and numerical calculation to analyse the effects of different sensitive parameters on lepton flavor violation (LFV) in the N-B-LSSM. The numerical results show that the non-diagonal elements involving the initial and final leptons are main sensitive parameters and LFV sources. This work is conducive to exploring new physics (NP) beyond the Standard Model (SM).

Lepton flavor violating decays $$l_j\rightarrow l_i\gamma ,$$ $$l_j \rightarrow 3l_i$$ and $$\mu \rightarrow e+ q\bar{q}$$ in the N-B-LSSM
