Utilizing 4.5 $ \text{fb}^{-1} $ of $ e^+e^- $ annihilation data collected at center-of-mass energies ranging from 4599.53 MeV to 4698.82 MeV by the BESIII detector at the BEPCII collider, we searched for singly Cabibbo-suppressed hadronic decays $ \Lambda_{c}^{+}\to\Sigma^{0} K^{+}\pi^{0} $ and $ \Lambda_{c}^{+}\to\Sigma^{0}K^{+} \pi^+ \pi^- $ with a single-tag method. No significant signals were observed for both decays. The upper limits on the branching fractions at the 90% confidence level were determined to be $ 5.0\times 10^{-4} $ for $ \Lambda_{c}^{+}\to\Sigma^{0} K^{+}\pi^{0} $ and $ 6.5\times 10^{-4} $ for $ \Lambda_c^{+}\to\Sigma^0K^{+}\pi^{+}\pi^{-} $ .

We search for the leptonic decay $ D^+\to e^+\nu_{e} $ using an $ e^+e^- $ collision data sample with an integrated luminosity of 20.3 fb $ ^{-1} $ collected with the BESIII detector at a center-of-mass energy of 3.773 GeV. Significant signal is not observed, and an upper limit on the branching fraction of $ D^+\to e^+\nu_{e} $ is set as $ 9.7 \times 10^{-7} $ , at a confidence level of 90%. Our upper limit is an order of magnitude smaller than the previous limit for this decay mode.

With the discovery of a Higgs boson with a mass of 125 gigaelectronvolts (GeV) at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) at CERN in 2012, the Standard Model (SM) is complete, and despite intensive searches, no new fundamental particle has been observed since then. In fact, a discovery can be challenging without a predictive new physics model because different channels and observables cannot be combined directly and unambiguously. Furthermore, without supporting indirect hints, the signal space to be searched is huge, resulting in diluted significances owing to the look-elsewhere effect. Several LHC processes with multiple leptons in the final state point towards the existence of a new Higgs boson with a mass between 140 GeV to 160 GeV decaying mostly to $\textit{W}$ bosons. While the former strongly reduces the look-elsewhere effect, the latter indicates that it could be a Higgs triplet with zero hypercharge. Within this simple and predictive extension of the SM, we simulate and combine different channels of di-photon production in association with leptons, missing energy, jets, $\textit{etc}$... Using the full run-2 results by ATLAS, including those presented recently at the Moriond conference, an increased significance of 4 standard deviations is obtained for a $\approx$ 152 GeV Higgs. Due to the previously predicted mass range, the look-elsewhere effect is negligible, and this constitutes the highest statistical evidence for a new narrow resonance obtained at the LHC. Furthermore, the model predicts a heavier-than-expected $\textit{W}$ boson, as indicated by the global electroweak fit. If further substantiated, the discovery of a new Higgs would overthrow the SM, provide a compelling case for the construction of future particle colliders, and pave the way to a novel understanding of the known shortcomings of the SM. In particular, the triplet Higgs field can lead to a strong first-order phase transition and could thus be related to the matter anti-matter asymmetry in our Universe.

This study investigates the form factors and impact parameter space parton distribution functions of the $\textit{ρ}$ meson derived from the generalized parton distributions within the Nambu–Jona-Lasinio model framework, employing a proper time regularization scheme. We compare the charge $G_C$ , magnetic $G_M$ , and quadrupole $G_Q$ form factors with lattice data. The dressed form factors, $G_C^D$ and $G_M^D$ , exhibit good agreement with lattice results; however, $G_Q^D$ is found to be harder than what is observed in lattice calculations. The Rosenbluth cross section for elastic electron scattering on a spin-one particle can be expressed through the structure functions $A(Q^2)$ and $B(Q^2)$ . Additionally, the tensor polarization $T_{20}(Q^2,\theta)$ can also be formulated in terms of these form factors. We analyze the structure functions $A(Q^2)$ , $B(Q^2)$ and tensor polarization function $T_{20}(Q^2,\theta)$ ; our findings quantitatively align with predicted values across various limits. In impact parameter space, we examine parton distribution functions along with their dependence on longitudinal momentum fraction $\textit{x}$ and impact parameter $\boldsymbol{b}_{\perp}$ . The width distributions in impact parameter space reveal that the range of the charge distribution $ q_C(x,\boldsymbol{b}_{\perp}^2)$ is the most extensive. In contrast, the transverse magnetic radius falls within a moderate range, while the quadrupole distribution $q_Q(x,\boldsymbol{b}_{\perp}^2) $ demonstrates the narrowest extent.

Using an electron-positron collision data sample corresponding to $ (1.0087\pm0.0044)\times10^{10} $ $ J/\psi $ events collected using the BESIII detector at the BEPCII collider, we firstly search for the lepton number violation decay $ \phi \to \pi^+ \pi^+ e^- e^- $ via $ J/\psi\to \phi\eta $ . No obviously signals are found. The upper limit on the branching fraction of $ \phi \to \pi^+ \pi^+ e^- e^- $ is set to be $ 1.3\times10^{-5} $ at the 90% confidence level.

We investigate mesonic condensation in isospin matter under rotation. Using the two-flavor NJL effective model in the presence of global rotation, we demonstrate two important effects of rotation on its phase structure: a rotational suppression of the scalar-channel condensates, in particular, the pion condensation region; and a rotational enhancement of the rho condensation region with vector-channel condensate. A new phase diagram for isospin matter under rotation is mapped out on the 
					 plane where the three distinct phases, corresponding to the 
					 -dominated regions, respectively, are separated by a second-order line at low isospin chemical potential as well as a first-order line at high rotation and are further connected at a tri-critical point.

We report results of a comprehensive global 
					 analysis of nuclear collision data from RHIC (0.2 ATeV), LHC1 (2.76 ATeV), and recent LHC2 (5.02 ATeV) energies using the updated CUJET framework. The framework consistently combines viscous hydrodynamic fields predicted by VISHNU2+1 (validated with soft 
					 GeV bulk observables) and the DGLV theory of jet elastic and inelastic energy loss generalized to QGP fluids with an sQGMP color structure, including effective semi-QGP color electric quark and gluon as well as emergent color magnetic monopole degrees of freedom constrained by lattice QCD data. We vary the two control parameters of the model (the maximum value of the running QCD coupling, 
					, and the ratio 
					 of color magnetic to electric screening scales) and calculate the global 
					 compared with available jet fragment observables (
					). A global 
					 minimum is found with 
					 and 
					. Using CIBJET, the event-by-event (ebe) generalization of the CUJET framework, we show that ebe fluctuations in the initial conditions do not significantly alter our conclusions (except for 
					). An important theoretical advantage of the CUJET and CIBJET frameworks is not only its global 
					 consistency with jet fragment observables at RHIC and LHC and with non-perturbative lattice QCD data, but also its internal consistency of the constrained jet transport coefficient, 
					, with the near-perfect fluid viscosity to entropy ratio (
					) property of QCD fluids near 
					 needed to account for the low 
					 GeV flow observables. Predictions for future tests at LHC with 5.44 ATeV Xe + Xe and 5.02 ATeV Pb + Pb are also presented.

We study the prospects of probing the anomalous tHq (q = u, c) couplings via SS2L or 3L signatures at the High Luminosity (HL-LHC) run of the 14 TeV CERN collider. We focus on signals of the tH associated production followed by the decay modes t → bℓ+νℓ and H → WW*, and production followed by the decay modes t → bℓ+νℓ and , where ℓ = e,μ. Based on two types of H → WW* decay topologies, one assuming the semileptonic decay mode H → WW*→ℓ+νjj and the other the fully leptonic decay mode , we perform a full simulation for signals and backgrounds. It is shown that, at the future HL-LHC, the branching ratio Br(t → uh) (Br(t → ch)) can be probed to 1.17 (1.56) × 10−3 for the same-sign di-lepton channel, and to 7.1 × 10−4 (1.39 × 10−3) for the 3L channel at 3σ sensitivity.

We propose to interpret the DAMPE electron excess at 1.5 TeV through scalar or Dirac fermion dark matter (DM) annihilation with doubly charged scalar mediators that have lepton-specific Yukawa couplings. The hierarchy of such lepton-specific Yukawa couplings is generated through the Froggatt-Nielsen mechanism, so that the dark matter annihilation products can be dominantly electrons. Stringent constraints from LEP2 on intermediate vector boson production can be evaded in our scenarios. In the case of scalar DM, we discuss one scenario with DM annihilating directly to leptons and another scenario with DM annihilating to scalar mediators followed by their decays. We also discuss the Breit-Wigner resonant enhancement and the Sommerfeld enhancement in the case where the s-wave annihilation process is small or helicity-suppressed. With both types of enhancement, constraints on the parameters can be relaxed and new ways for model building can be opened in explaining the DAMPE results.
