In this paper, we present intriguing traversable and asymptotically flat wormhole solutions within <math altimg='si18.svg'><mrow><mi>f</mi><mo>(</mo><mi>R</mi><mo>,</mo><msub><mi>L</mi><mi>m</mi></msub><mo>,</mo><mi>T</mi><mo>)</mo></mrow></math> gravity. We integrate our model with the gravitational analog of the Schwinger effect, describing the emergence of particle-antiparticle pairs from the vacuum. By introducing a fundamental minimal length via the generalized uncertainty principle, we establish critical constraints on matter distribution and spacetime structure. Our findings reveal how this fundamental length shapes the wormhole geometry, steepening the slope toward the throat and mitigating violations of the weak and null energy conditions. This adjustment allows the supporting matter to avoid phantom behavior at the Planck scale, suggesting a more stable configuration. We also explore the intriguing effects of gravitational lensing, showing that these exotic wormholes repel light rather than capture it. For <math altimg='si9.svg'><mi>&#946;</mi></math> values ranging from 0 to 45, the deflection angle remains negative for all corresponding <math altimg='si14.svg'><mrow><mi>&#945;</mi><mo>(</mo><msub><mi>r</mi><mrow><mi>t</mi><mi>p</mi></mrow></msub><mo>)</mo></mrow></math> values, indicating a repulsive gravitational force that pushes photons away from the throat. Moreover, the forces acting on the wormhole exhibit a delicate balance, demonstrating equal strength in opposing directions&#8211;an essential feature of stability. The complexity factor <math altimg='si17.svg'><msub><mi>Y</mi><mrow><mi>T</mi><mi>F</mi></mrow></msub></math> decreases with distance from the throat, indicating that corrections from the generalized uncertainty principle are most significant near the throat and diminish outward. Overall, our work highlights the allure of these wormhole geometries and the pivotal role of quantum effects in their formation, paving new avenues for understanding gravity and spacetime.

We propose a symplectic structure for the phase space of a generic Lagrangian field theory expressed in the framework of $\textit{L}$ algebras. The symplectic structure does not require explicit knowledge of the derivative content of the Lagrangian, and therefore is applicable to nonlocal models, such as string field theory, where traditional constructions are difficult to apply. We test our proposal in a number of examples ranging from general relativity to $\textit{p}$-adic string theory.

Covariant phase space and $\textit{L}$

We measure the spin-density matrix elements (SDMEs) for the photoproduction of <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML"><mrow><mi>ϕ</mi><mo>(</mo><mn>1020</mn><mo>)</mo></mrow></math> off of the proton in its decay to <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML"><mrow><msubsup><mi>K</mi><mi>S</mi><mn>0</mn></msubsup><msubsup><mi>K</mi><mi>L</mi><mn>0</mn></msubsup></mrow></math>, using 105 <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML"><msup><mrow><mi>pb</mi></mrow><mrow><mo>−</mo><mn>1</mn></mrow></msup></math> of data collected with a linearly polarized photon beam using the GlueX experiment. The SDMEs are measured in nine bins of the squared four-momentum transfer <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML"><mi>t</mi></math> in the range <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML"><mrow><mo>−</mo><mi>t</mi><mo>=</mo><mn>0.15</mn><mo>−</mo><mn>1.0</mn></mrow></math> <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML"><msup><mrow><mi>GeV</mi></mrow><mn>2</mn></msup></math>, providing the first measurement of their <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML"><mi>t</mi></math> dependence for photon beam energies of <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML"><mrow><msub><mi>E</mi><mi>γ</mi></msub><mo>=</mo><mn>8.2</mn><mo>−</mo><mn>8.8</mn></mrow></math> GeV. We confirm the dominance of Pomeron exchange in this region and put constraints on the contribution of other Regge exchanges. We also find that helicity amplitudes where the helicity of the photon and <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML"><mrow><mi>ϕ</mi><mo>(</mo><mn>1020</mn><mo>)</mo></mrow></math> differ by two units are negligible.

The radiative seesaw model with gauged <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><msub><mrow><mi mathvariant="normal">U</mi><mo stretchy="false">(</mo><mn>1</mn><mo stretchy="false">)</mo></mrow><mrow><mi>B</mi><mo>−</mo><mi>L</mi></mrow></msub><mo>×</mo><msub><mi mathvariant="double-struck">Z</mi><mn>2</mn></msub></math> extension is a well-motivated scenario that gives consistent predictions of active neutrino masses and the abundance of dark matter. Majorana masses of right-handed neutrinos, the lightest of which can be identified as dark matter, are given by the spontaneous breaking of the <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><msub><mrow><mi mathvariant="normal">U</mi><mo stretchy="false">(</mo><mn>1</mn><mo stretchy="false">)</mo></mrow><mrow><mi>B</mi><mo>−</mo><mi>L</mi></mrow></msub></math> gauge symmetry. We revisit this model with the latest constraints from dark-matter searches, neutrino oscillations, flavor experiments, and collider experiments. We examine several benchmark scenarios and identify the valid parameter space of this model, finding that there are still allowed regions under the latest experimental constraints. We present new viable benchmark scenarios for this model, i.e., the right-handed neutrino dark-matter scenario and the scalar dark-matter scenario. We also mention the testability of these benchmark scenarios in future experiments.

Revisiting the model for radiative neutrino masses with dark matter in the <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mrow><mstyle mathvariant="normal"><mi>U</mi></mstyle><mo stretchy="false">(</mo><mn>1</mn><msub><mrow><mo stretchy="false">)</mo></mrow><mrow><mi>B</mi><mo>−</mo><mi>L</mi></mrow></msub></mrow></math> gauge theory

Using a Drinfeld twist of Jordanian type, we construct a deformation of the non-compact and $$ \mathfrak{s}{\mathfrak{l}}_2 $$ -invariant $\textit{XXX}$ spin-chain. Before the deformation, the seed model can be understood as a sector of the $$ \mathfrak{psu} $$ (2, 2|4)-invariant spin-chain encoding the spectral problem of $$ \mathcal{N} $$ = 4 super Yang-Mills at one loop in the planar limit. The deformation gives rise to interesting features because, while being integrable, the Hamiltonian is non-hermitian and non-diagonalisable, so that it only admits a Jordan decomposition. Moreover, the eigenvalues of the deformed Hamiltonian coincide with those of the original undeformed spin-chain. We use explicit examples as well as the techniques of the coordinate and of the algebraic Bethe ansatz to discuss the construction of the (generalised) eigenvectors of the deformed model. We also show that the deformed spin-chain is equivalent to an undeformed one with twisted boundary conditions, and that it may be derived from a scaling limit of the non-compact $\textit{U}$ ( $$ \mathfrak{s}{\mathfrak{l}}_2 $$ )-invariant $\textit{XXZ}$ spin-chain.

Motivated by the deviations observed between the experimental measurements and the Standard Model (SM) predictions of the branching ratios of <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><msubsup><mover accent="true"><mi>B</mi><mo stretchy="false">¯</mo></mover><mi>s</mi><mn>0</mn></msubsup><mo stretchy="false">→</mo><msubsup><mi>D</mi><mi>s</mi><mo>+</mo></msubsup><msup><mi>π</mi><mo>−</mo></msup></math> and <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><msubsup><mover accent="true"><mi>B</mi><mo stretchy="false">¯</mo></mover><mi>d</mi><mn>0</mn></msubsup><mo stretchy="false">→</mo><msup><mi>D</mi><mo>+</mo></msup><msup><mi>K</mi><mo>−</mo></msup></math> decays, we revisit the two-body hadronic <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><msubsup><mi>B</mi><mi>c</mi><mo>−</mo></msubsup><mo stretchy="false">→</mo><mi>J</mi><mo>/</mo><mi>ψ</mi><mo stretchy="false">(</mo><msub><mi>η</mi><mi>c</mi></msub><mo stretchy="false">)</mo><msup><mi>L</mi><mo>−</mo></msup></math> decays, with <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mi>L</mi><mo>=</mo><mi>π</mi><mo>,</mo><msup><mi>K</mi><mrow><mo stretchy="false">(</mo><mo>*</mo><mo stretchy="false">)</mo></mrow></msup><mo>,</mo><mi>ρ</mi></math>, both within the SM and beyond. Since these processes are also mediated by the quark-level <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mi>b</mi><mo stretchy="false">→</mo><mi>c</mi><mover accent="true"><mi>u</mi><mo stretchy="false">¯</mo></mover><mi>d</mi><mo stretchy="false">(</mo><mi>s</mi><mo stretchy="false">)</mo></math> transitions and hence dominated by the color-allowed tree topology, the QCD factorization is generally expected to hold in the heavy-quark limit. First, we update the SM predictions of the observables of these decays by including the nonfactorizable vertex corrections to the hadronic matrix elements of the SM four-quark operators up to the next-to-next-to-leading order (NNLO) in <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><msub><mi>α</mi><mi>s</mi></msub></math>. It is found that, relative to the leading-order results, the branching ratios of these decays up to the next-to-leading-order (NLO) and NNLO corrections are always enhanced, with a relative amount given by <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><msub><mi>δ</mi><mi>NLO</mi></msub><mo>=</mo><mo stretchy="false">(</mo><msup><mi mathvariant="script">B</mi><mi>NLO</mi></msup><mo>−</mo><msup><mi mathvariant="script">B</mi><mi>LO</mi></msup><mo stretchy="false">)</mo><mo>/</mo><msup><mi mathvariant="script">B</mi><mi>LO</mi></msup><mo>≈</mo><mo>+</mo><mn>6</mn><mo>%</mo></math> and <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><msub><mi>δ</mi><mrow><mi>NNLO</mi></mrow></msub><mo>=</mo><mo stretchy="false">(</mo><msup><mi mathvariant="script">B</mi><mrow><mi>NNLO</mi></mrow></msup><mo>−</mo><msup><mi mathvariant="script">B</mi><mi>LO</mi></msup><mo stretchy="false">)</mo><mo>/</mo><msup><mi mathvariant="script">B</mi><mi>LO</mi></msup><mo>≈</mo><mo>+</mo><mn>9</mn><mo>%</mo></math>, respectively. Furthermore, the ratio <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><msub><mi>R</mi><mrow><mi>π</mi><mo>/</mo><mi>μ</mi><msub><mi>ν</mi><mi>μ</mi></msub></mrow></msub></math>, once measured precisely, could provide complementary constraint on these NP Wilson coefficients allowed by <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><msubsup><mi>R</mi><mrow><mo stretchy="false">(</mo><mi>s</mi><mo stretchy="false">)</mo><mi>L</mi></mrow><mrow><mo stretchy="false">(</mo><mo>*</mo><mo stretchy="false">)</mo></mrow></msubsup></math>. With the large <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><msub><mi>B</mi><mi>c</mi></msub></math> events expected at the Large Hadron Collider, we hope to obtain more precise measurements of these observables, which can be exploited to discriminate the different NP scenarios responsible for the deviations observed in the two-body nonleptonic <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mi>B</mi></math>-meson decays.

The isospin-selective reaction <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><msub><mi>K</mi><mi>L</mi></msub><mi>p</mi><mo stretchy="false">→</mo><msup><mi>π</mi><mo>+</mo></msup><msup><mi mathvariant="normal">Σ</mi><mn>0</mn></msup></math> provides a clean probe for investigating <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mi>I</mi><mo>=</mo><mn>1</mn><mtext> </mtext><mtext> </mtext><msup><mi mathvariant="normal">Σ</mi><mo>*</mo></msup></math> resonances. By fitting the available differential cross-section and recoil polarization data, adhering to partial-wave phase conventions same as the Particle Data Group, we find that besides the established resonances, contributions from <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mi mathvariant="normal">Σ</mi><mo stretchy="false">(</mo><mn>1660</mn><mo stretchy="false">)</mo><mn>1</mn><mo>/</mo><msup><mn>2</mn><mo>+</mo></msup></math>, <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mi mathvariant="normal">Σ</mi><mo stretchy="false">(</mo><mn>1580</mn><mo stretchy="false">)</mo><mn>3</mn><mo>/</mo><msup><mn>2</mn><mo>−</mo></msup></math>, and a <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><msup><mi mathvariant="normal">Σ</mi><mo>*</mo></msup><mo stretchy="false">(</mo><mn>1</mn><mo>/</mo><msup><mn>2</mn><mo>−</mo></msup><mo stretchy="false">)</mo></math> improve the description. Notably, a <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><msup><mi mathvariant="normal">Σ</mi><mo>*</mo></msup><mo stretchy="false">(</mo><mn>1</mn><mo>/</mo><msup><mn>2</mn><mo>−</mo></msup><mo stretchy="false">)</mo></math> resonance with mass around 1.54 GeV, consistent with <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mi mathvariant="normal">Σ</mi><mo stretchy="false">(</mo><mn>1620</mn><mo stretchy="false">)</mo><mn>1</mn><mo>/</mo><msup><mn>2</mn><mo>−</mo></msup></math>, is found to be essential for describing the data in this channel, a stronger indication than found in previous analyses focusing on <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mi>π</mi><mi mathvariant="normal">Λ</mi></math> final states. While providing complementary support for <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mi mathvariant="normal">Σ</mi><mo stretchy="false">(</mo><mn>1660</mn><mo stretchy="false">)</mo><mn>1</mn><mo>/</mo><msup><mn>2</mn><mo>+</mo></msup></math> and <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mi mathvariant="normal">Σ</mi><mo stretchy="false">(</mo><mn>1580</mn><mo stretchy="false">)</mo><mn>3</mn><mo>/</mo><msup><mn>2</mn><mo>−</mo></msup></math>, our results highlight the importance of the <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mi mathvariant="normal">Σ</mi><mo stretchy="false">(</mo><mn>1620</mn><mo stretchy="false">)</mo><mn>1</mn><mo>/</mo><msup><mn>2</mn><mo>−</mo></msup></math> region in <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><msub><mi>K</mi><mi>L</mi></msub><mi>p</mi><mo stretchy="false">→</mo><msup><mi>π</mi><mo>+</mo></msup><msup><mi mathvariant="normal">Σ</mi><mn>0</mn></msup></math>. Future high-precision measurements are needed to solidify these findings and further constrain the <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><msup><mi mathvariant="normal">Σ</mi><mo>*</mo></msup></math> spectrum.

We propose a <math altimg='si37.svg'><mrow><mi>U</mi><msub><mrow><mo>(</mo><mn>1</mn><mo>)</mo></mrow><mrow><mi>B</mi><mo>&#8722;</mo><mi>L</mi></mrow></msub></mrow></math> gauge extension to the SM, in which the dark sector is stabilized through a matter parity symmetry preserved after spontaneous symmetry breaking. The fermion spectrum includes three neutral right-handed fields with <math altimg='si36.svg'><mrow><mi>B</mi><mo linebreak='goodbreak'>&#8722;</mo><mi>L</mi></mrow></math> charges <math altimg='si38.svg'><mrow><mo>(</mo><mo>&#8722;</mo><mn>4</mn><mo>,</mo><mo>&#8722;</mo><mn>4</mn><mo>,</mo><mn>5</mn><mo>)</mo></mrow></math>, that make the model free of gauge anomalies. Two of these neutral fermion fields serve as mediators in a scotogenic mechanism for light-active Majorana neutrino masses. The corresponding neutrino mass matrix has rank 2, predicting a massless state and a lower bound for neutrinoless double beta decay. Regions in the parameter space consistent with dark matter relic abundance are accomplished by the lightest neutral mediator.

Scotogenic dark matter from gauged <math altimg='si36.svg'><mrow><mi>B</mi><mo linebreak='goodbreak'>&#8722;</mo><mi>L</mi></mrow></math>

We explore the <math altimg='si1.svg'><msub><mrow><mi>L</mi></mrow><mrow><mo>&#8734;</mo></mrow></msub></math>-algebraic structures in antisymmetric tensor gauge field theory, focusing on the construction of a contracting homotopy for the chain map between two distinct <math altimg='si1.svg'><msub><mrow><mi>L</mi></mrow><mrow><mo>&#8734;</mo></mrow></msub></math>-algebras. Utilizing the free Feynman propagators, we establish a quasi-isomorphism between the original <math altimg='si1.svg'><msub><mrow><mi>L</mi></mrow><mrow><mo>&#8734;</mo></mrow></msub></math>-algebra and its minimal model. This construction leads to the recursive relations for the coefficients of Berends-Giele-like currents which are essential in the computations of tree-level scattering amplitudes of tensor gauge fields. Under such framework, we derive the generating functional for all tree-level amplitudes in terms of Maurer-Cartan elements within the minimal model. As an illustration, we carry out the three- and four-point scattering amplitudes in the tensor gauge theory by applying field operators to the Maurer-Cartan action with appropriate boundary conditions.

<italic>L</italic> <inf>&#8734;</inf>-structure and scattering amplitudes of antisymmetric tensor gauge field theory

The $\textit{L}$ -algebra approach to scattering amplitudes elegantly describes the non-trivial part of the $\textit{S}$-matrix but fails to take into account the trivial part. We argue that the trivial contribution to the $\textit{S}$-matrix should be accounted for by another, complementary $\textit{L}$ -algebra, such that a perturbative field theory is described by a cyclic relative $\textit{L}$ -algebra. We further demonstrate that this construction reproduces Witten diagrams that arise in AdS/CFT including, in particular, the trivial Witten diagrams corresponding to CFT two-point functions. We also discuss Chern-Simons theory and Yang-Mills theory on manifolds with boundaries using this approach.
