We propose a new inverse seesaw model based on hidden local <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mi>U</mi><mo stretchy="false">(</mo><mn>1</mn><mo stretchy="false">)</mo></math> symmetry framework where the inverse seesaw mechanism is induced at one loop level. A Majorana mass term of singlet fermion is forbidden by the <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mi>U</mi><mo stretchy="false">(</mo><mn>1</mn><mo stretchy="false">)</mo></math> symmetry and it is generated at one-loop level by introducing relevant particle contents to get loop diagram, inducing inverse seesaw mechanism. The same particle contents also contribute to lepton magnetic(electric) dipole moment and lepton flavor violating decays without chiral suppression. We can then obtain sizable muon anomalous magnetic dipole moment that accommodate with deviation from the standard model prediction. The constraints from lepton flavor violating decays and electron magnetic(electric) dipole moment are also discussed to explore testability of the model.

Radiative inverse seesaw model with hidden <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mi>U</mi><mo stretchy="false">(</mo><mn>1</mn><mo stretchy="false">)</mo></math> gauge symmetry enhancing lepton <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mi>g</mi><mo>−</mo><mn>2</mn></math>

We investigate thermal properties of a <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mi>U</mi><mo stretchy="false">(</mo><mn>1</mn><mo stretchy="false">)</mo></math> lattice gauge theory in <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mn>1</mn><mo>+</mo><mn>1</mn></math> dimensions through real-time simulations. We extract the spectral functions directly coupling to the pseudoscalar and scalar mesons, demonstrating the thermal modifications of these states with increasing temperatures. Introducing the notion of energy-flow operators, we quantify the temporal buildup of correlations in the energy flows across the lattice. We demonstrate that energy-energy correlators fail to factorize to products of energy flows, both in the vacuum and at nonzero temperature, indicating the presence of nontrivial correlations in the quantum states. Our results constitute a first real-time ab initio study of bound-state thermal broadening and finite temperature energy-flow correlations in a gauge theory, providing a benchmark for future studies of hadronic matter under extreme conditions.

Thermal modifications of mesons and energy-energy correlators from real-time simulations of a <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mrow><mi>U</mi><mo stretchy="false">(</mo><mn>1</mn><mo stretchy="false">)</mo></mrow></math> lattice gauge theory

The particle origin of dark matter (DM) remains elusive despite decades of direct, indirect, and collider searches. Several groups have reported a <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mi>γ</mi></math>-ray excess toward the Galactic Center commonly referred to as the Galactic Center excess (GCE). Its spectrum is consistent with annihilation of weakly interacting massive particles (WIMPs) of mass <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mrow><mi mathvariant="script">O</mi><mo stretchy="false">(</mo><mn>10</mn><mo>−</mo><mn>100</mn><mo stretchy="false">)</mo><mtext> </mtext><mtext> </mtext><mi>GeV</mi></mrow></math> and a thermal-relic cross section. Although many concrete WIMP models reproduce the GCE spectrum, most are now excluded by direct detection experiments that are approaching the neutrino floor. We investigate a class of anomaly-free extensions of the Standard Model featuring gauged differences of lepton number, <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mi>U</mi><mo stretchy="false">(</mo><mn>1</mn><msub><mo stretchy="false">)</mo><mrow><msub><mi>L</mi><mi>i</mi></msub><mo>−</mo><msub><mi>L</mi><mi>j</mi></msub></mrow></msub></math>, and gauged baryon minus lepton number, <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mi>U</mi><mo stretchy="false">(</mo><mn>1</mn><msub><mo stretchy="false">)</mo><mrow><mi>B</mi><mo>−</mo><mi>L</mi></mrow></msub></math>. We show that these models can reproduce the GCE while remaining compatible with the observed relic abundance. We then impose collider and direct detection constraints, accounting for both tree-level and loop-induced kinetic mixing. The <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><msub><mi>L</mi><mi>μ</mi></msub><mo>−</mo><msub><mi>L</mi><mi>e</mi></msub></math> model gives the best fit to the GCE: a DM mass of <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mrow><msub><mrow><mi>m</mi></mrow><mrow><mi>χ</mi></mrow></msub><mo>∼</mo><mn>40</mn><mo>−</mo><mn>50</mn><mtext> </mtext><mtext> </mtext><mi>GeV</mi></mrow></math> remains consistent with the muon and electron magnetic moment anomalies, <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mo stretchy="false">(</mo><mi>g</mi><mo>−</mo><mn>2</mn><msub><mo stretchy="false">)</mo><mrow><mi>μ</mi><mo>,</mo><mi>e</mi></mrow></msub></math>, as well as current collider and direct detection limits, for mediator masses in the range <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mrow><msub><mrow><mi>m</mi></mrow><mrow><msup><mrow><mi>A</mi></mrow><mrow><mo>′</mo></mrow></msup></mrow></msub><mo>∼</mo><mn>70</mn><mo>−</mo><mn>86</mn><mtext> </mtext><mtext> </mtext><mi>GeV</mi></mrow></math> and a DM mediator coupling of <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mrow><mo stretchy="false">(</mo><mn>1</mn><mo>−</mo><mn>5</mn><mo stretchy="false">)</mo><mo>×</mo><msup><mrow><mn>10</mn></mrow><mrow><mo>−</mo><mn>2</mn></mrow></msup></mrow></math>. By contrast, the <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><msub><mi>L</mi><mi>e</mi></msub><mo>−</mo><msub><mi>L</mi><mi>τ</mi></msub></math> and <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><msub><mi>L</mi><mi>μ</mi></msub><mo>−</mo><msub><mi>L</mi><mi>τ</mi></msub></math> models yield poorer fits; satisfying both the relic density and experimental bounds forces the DM mass to lie very close to resonance (i.e. approximately half the mediator mass). Finally, while the <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mi>B</mi><mo>−</mo><mi>L</mi></math> model also matches the GCE well, its parameter space is almost entirely ruled out by strong direct detection limits, except for the narrow resonance region where <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><msub><mi>m</mi><mi>χ</mi></msub></math> should be equal to <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><msub><mi>m</mi><msup><mi>A</mi><mo>′</mo></msup></msub><mo>/</mo><mn>2</mn></math> requiring a fine-tuning at the few-percent level.

Leptophilic dark matter in <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mi>U</mi><mo stretchy="false">(</mo><mn>1</mn><msub><mo stretchy="false">)</mo><mrow><msub><mi>L</mi><mi>i</mi></msub><mo>−</mo><msub><mi>L</mi><mi>j</mi></msub></mrow></msub></math> models: A solution to the Fermi-LAT Galactic Center excess consistent with cosmological and laboratory observations

The LHCb Collaboration has recently found a large <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mi>C</mi><mi>P</mi></math>-violating rate asymmetry in the <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mi>b</mi></math>-baryon decay <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><msubsup><mi mathvariant="normal">Λ</mi><mi>b</mi><mn>0</mn></msubsup><mo stretchy="false">→</mo><mi>p</mi><msup><mi>K</mi><mo>−</mo></msup><msup><mi>π</mi><mo>+</mo></msup><msup><mi>π</mi><mo>−</mo></msup></math>. This is the first observation of <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mi>C</mi><mi>P</mi></math> violation in baryon processes, opening a new window to test its standard model (SM) origin. Many more baryon decays are expected to exhibit observable signals of <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mi>C</mi><mi>P</mi></math> violation. We present a comprehensive QCD analysis of the <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mi>B</mi><mo stretchy="false">→</mo><mi>π</mi><mi>π</mi></math> form factors within the framework of light-cone sum rules, employing two-pion light-cone distribution amplitudes (<math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mn>2</mn><mi>π</mi><mi>DA</mi></math>s). For the first time, we derive the twist-three <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mn>2</mn><mi>π</mi><mi>DA</mi></math>s explicitly by exploiting the conformal symmetry of massless QCD. This breakthrough enables the first systematic calculation of higher-power corrections to the <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mi>B</mi><mo stretchy="false">→</mo><mi>π</mi><mi>π</mi></math>-type transitions. Leveraging the recently measured partial decay fractions of <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><msup><mi>B</mi><mo>+</mo></msup><mo stretchy="false">→</mo><msup><mi>π</mi><mo>+</mo></msup><msup><mi>π</mi><mo>−</mo></msup><msup><mi>l</mi><mo>+</mo></msup><msub><mi>ν</mi><mi>l</mi></msub></math> by the Belle detector, we obtain <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mo stretchy="false">|</mo><msub><mi>V</mi><mrow><mi>u</mi><mi>b</mi></mrow></msub><mo stretchy="false">|</mo><mo>=</mo><mrow><mo stretchy="false">(</mo><mn>4.27</mn><mo>±</mo><mn>0.49</mn><msub><mo stretchy="false">|</mo><mrow><mi>data</mi></mrow></msub><mo>±</mo><mn>0.55</mn><msub><mo stretchy="false">|</mo><mtext>LCSRs</mtext></msub><mo stretchy="false">)</mo></mrow><mo>×</mo><msup><mn>10</mn><mrow><mo>−</mo><mn>3</mn></mrow></msup></math> within the dominant region of the <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mi>ρ</mi></math> resonance. We clarify that the relatively small value of <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mo stretchy="false">|</mo><msub><mi>V</mi><mrow><mi>u</mi><mi>b</mi></mrow></msub><mo stretchy="false">|</mo></math> extracted from <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mi>B</mi><mo stretchy="false">→</mo><mi>ρ</mi><mi>l</mi><mi>ν</mi></math>, when compared to the golden channel <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mi>B</mi><mo stretchy="false">→</mo><mi>π</mi><mi>l</mi><mi>ν</mi></math>, arises due to the finite width and nonresonant effects. We anticipate future measurements of purely isovector and isoscalar <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><msub><mi>B</mi><mrow><mi>l</mi><mn>4</mn></mrow></msub></math> decays, which will aid in reducing uncertainties by enhancing our understanding of the <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mi>π</mi><mi>π</mi></math> phase shifts in the two-pion distribution amplitudes through heavy flavor decays.

QCD analysis of <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mi>B</mi><mo stretchy="false">→</mo><mi>π</mi><mi>π</mi></math> form factors and the <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mrow><mo stretchy="false">|</mo><msub><mrow><mi>V</mi></mrow><mrow><mi>u</mi><mi>b</mi></mrow></msub><mo stretchy="false">|</mo></mrow></math> extraction from <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><msub><mi>B</mi><mrow><mi>l</mi><mn>4</mn></mrow></msub></math> decays

Based on a sample of $2.7\times10^{9}$ $\psi(3686)$ events collected by the BESIII detector operating at the BEPCII collider, the decay $\psi(3686)\to\gamma\chi_{cJ}, \chi_{cJ}\to\eta\eta\eta^{\prime}$ is analyzed. The decay modes $\chi_{c1}$ and $\chi_{c2}\to\eta\eta\eta^{\prime}$ are observed for the first time, and their corresponding branching fractions are determined to be ${\cal{B}}(\chi_{c1}\to\eta\eta\eta^{\prime}) = $ $ (1.40\, \pm 0.13\, (\text{stat.}) \pm 0.09\, (\text{sys.})) \times 10^{-4}$ and ${\cal{B}}(\chi_{c2}\to\eta\eta\eta^{\prime}) = (4.18\, \pm 0.84\, (\text{stat.}) \pm 0.48\, (\text{sys.})) \times 10^{-5}$ . An upper limit on the branching fraction of $\chi_{c0}\to\eta\eta\eta^{\prime}$ is set as $2.59 \times 10^{-5}$ at a 90% confidence level (CL). A partial wave analysis (PWA) of the decay $\chi_{c1}\to\eta\eta\eta^{\prime}$ is performed to search for the $1^{-+}$ exotic state $\eta_1(1855)$ . The PWA result indicates that the structure in the $\eta\eta^{\prime}$ mass spectrum is attributed to $f_0(1500)$ , while in the $\eta\eta$ mass spectrum, it is attributed to the $0^{++}$ phase space. The upper limit of ${\cal{B}}(\chi_{c1}\to\eta_{1}(1855)\eta) \cdot {\cal{B}}(\eta_{1}(1855)\to\eta\eta^{\prime}) \lt $ $ 9.79 \times 10^{-5}$ is set based on the PWA at 90% CL.

The recently observed <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mi>K</mi><mo stretchy="false">(</mo><mn>1690</mn><mo stretchy="false">)</mo></math> has been identified as a supernumerary pseudoscalar resonance signal in the strange-meson spectrum predicted by quark model calculations. It is the best candidate of a strange cryptoexotic state. In this work, we systematically study the hadron masses of <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mi>u</mi><mi>d</mi><mover accent="true"><mi>d</mi><mo stretchy="false">¯</mo></mover><mover accent="true"><mi>s</mi><mo stretchy="false">¯</mo></mover></math> tetraquark states with <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><msup><mi>J</mi><mi>P</mi></msup><mo>=</mo><msup><mn>0</mn><mo>−</mo></msup></math> in the method of QCD sum rules. For ten interpolating currents, we calculate the correlation functions up to dimension-8 nonperturbative condensates. To calculate the trigluon condensate, we comprehensively consider the contributions from different operators with and without covariant derivatives. The infrared safety can be guaranteed for the completely calculated trigluon condensate by properly addressing the IR divergences in Feynman diagrams. It is demonstrated that the trigluon condensate provides significant contributions to the sum-rule analyses in these light tetraquark systems. Unraveling <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mi>K</mi><mo stretchy="false">(</mo><mn>1690</mn><mo stretchy="false">)</mo></math> as a pseudoscalar <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mi>u</mi><mi>d</mi><mover accent="true"><mi>d</mi><mo stretchy="false">¯</mo></mover><mover accent="true"><mi>s</mi><mo stretchy="false">¯</mo></mover></math> tetraquark state

We perform a comprehensive investigation of the radiative decays of <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mi>P</mi></math>-wave charmed baryons in the <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mi>S</mi><mi>U</mi><mo stretchy="false">(</mo><mn>3</mn><mo stretchy="false">)</mo></math> flavor <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mrow><msub><mrow><mn mathvariant="bold">6</mn></mrow><mrow><mi>F</mi></mrow></msub></mrow></math> representation, employing the light-cone quantum chromodynamics (QCD) sum rule approach within the framework of heavy quark effective theory. We analyze their electromagnetic transitions into ground-state charmed baryons via photon emission. When combined with the mass spectra and strong decay properties previously studied in Yang and Chen [<a href="http://dx.doi.org/10.1103/PhysRevD.104.034037">Phys. Rev. D 104, 034037 (2021)</a>], our results constitute a systematic and complete QCD sum rule analysis of the <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mi>P</mi></math>-wave singly charmed baryons within the framework of heavy quark effective theory. As summarized in Table V, several excited charmed baryons are found to possess suppressed strong decay widths, thereby rendering their radiative decay channels particularly significant for experimental identification and theoretical understanding.

We explore the potential to detect the <math altimg='si39.svg'><mrow><mi>U</mi><msub><mrow><mo>(</mo><mn>1</mn><mo>)</mo></mrow><mrow><msub><mi>L</mi><mi>&#956;</mi></msub><mo>&#8722;</mo><msub><mi>L</mi><mi>&#964;</mi></msub></mrow></msub></mrow></math> model featuring triplet scalars &#916; at the <italic>&#956;</italic>TRISTAN collider. The new gauge boson <italic>Z</italic>&#8242;, arising from the spontaneous breaking of <math altimg='si39.svg'><mrow><mi>U</mi><msub><mrow><mo>(</mo><mn>1</mn><mo>)</mo></mrow><mrow><msub><mi>L</mi><mi>&#956;</mi></msub><mo>&#8722;</mo><msub><mi>L</mi><mi>&#964;</mi></msub></mrow></msub></mrow></math>, can exhibit maximal flavor changing interactions under the exchange symmetry, while &#916; mediates the flavor conserving interactions. The absence of muon <math altimg='si6.svg'><msub><mrow><mo>(</mo><mi>g</mi><mo>&#8722;</mo><mn>2</mn><mo>)</mo></mrow><mi>&#956;</mi></msub></math> can be explained by interference effects arising from opposite contributions of <italic>Z</italic>&#8242; and &#916;, with similar interference patterns also manifesting in the tau decay process <math altimg='si7.svg'><mrow><mi>&#964;</mi><mo>&#8594;</mo><mi>&#956;</mi><mi>&#957;</mi><mover accent='true'><mi>&#957;</mi><mo>&#175;</mo></mover></mrow></math>. These counteracting effects render the model phenomenologically interesting and warrant further investigation. For the mass <math altimg='si22.svg'><msub><mi>m</mi><msup><mi>Z</mi><mo>&#8242;</mo></msup></msub></math> in the range of hundreds of GeV, we find that <math altimg='si30.svg'><mrow><msup><mi>&#956;</mi><mo>+</mo></msup><msup><mi>&#956;</mi><mo>+</mo></msup></mrow></math> and <math altimg='si35.svg'><mrow><msup><mi>&#956;</mi><mo>+</mo></msup><msup><mi>e</mi><mo>&#8722;</mo></msup></mrow></math> collider at the <italic>&#956;</italic>TRISTAN can probe many regions inaccessible to current experiments and offer greater projected sensitivity than opposite-sign muon colliders. This suggests that <italic>&#956;</italic>TRISTAN can serve as complementary exploration to the <math altimg='si39.svg'><mrow><mi>U</mi><msub><mrow><mo>(</mo><mn>1</mn><mo>)</mo></mrow><mrow><msub><mi>L</mi><mi>&#956;</mi></msub><mo>&#8722;</mo><msub><mi>L</mi><mi>&#964;</mi></msub></mrow></msub></mrow></math> model, providing compelling motivation for the next generation of high-energy lepton colliders.

We reexamine by numerical simulation the phase structure of the (<math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mrow><mn>3</mn><mo>+</mo><mn>1</mn></mrow></math>)-dimensional <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mi>S</mi><mi>U</mi><mo stretchy="false">(</mo><mn>2</mn><mo stretchy="false">)</mo></math> lattice gauge theory with gauge fields coupled to Higgs fields at finite temperature. Concretely, we explore two different order parameters, which are able to distinguish the three phases of the theory: (i) the Fredenhagen-Marcu operator used to discriminate between deconfinement and confinement/Higgs phases and (ii) the Greensite-Matsuyama overlap operator proposed recently to distinguish confinement and Higgs phases.
