Motivated by the observation of the doubly charmed tetraquark $ T_{cc}(3875)^+ $ , we present a systematic study of doubly heavy tetraquarks ( $ T_{QQ'\bar{q}\bar{q}'} $ ) using heavy antiquark-diquark symmetry (HADS) within a constituent quark model. By calibrating model parameters to known hadron spectra and incorporating the effective mass formula, we predict the masses for 38 ground-state tetraquarks with $ cc $ , $ bb $ , and $ bc $ heavy quark pairs, including the non-strange, single-strange, and double-strange configurations with quantum numbers $ J^P = 0^+, 1^+ $ and $ 2^+ $ . Notably, we identify several stable states below the relevant meson-meson thresholds, particularly in the $ bb\bar{q}\bar{q}' $ sector. The explicit connection between the doubly heavy tetraquark and the heavy baryon spectra through HADS reduces model dependence and reveals the fundamental systematics in the heavy-quark hadron landscape.

Heavy Majorana neutrinos ($\textit{N}$) are predicted in many models of physics beyond the Standard Model. In this work, we explore the production and detection prospects of TeV-scale heavy neutrinos ( $ m_N \gtrsim 1 $ TeV) at a future 3 TeV Compact Linear Collider (CLIC). We focus on two distinct decay topologies: (i) $ N \to \ell^\pm W^\mp $ with hadronic $\textit{W}$ boson decay, leading to a final state with one charged lepton and a hadronic fat jet $ J_W $ ; and (ii) $ N \to \nu h $ with subsequent Higgs decay $ h \to b\bar{b} $ , yielding a Higgs-tagged fat jet $ J_h $ and $\not {E}_T$ . Based on comprehensive detector-level simulations and background analysis, we present both $ 2\sigma $ exclusion limits and $ 5\sigma $ discovery reaches in the $ m_N $ – $ |V_{\ell N}|^2 $ plane. We further extract 95% confidence level upper limits on the mixing parameter $ |V_{\ell N}|^2 $ and perform a detailed comparison with existing constraints from direct searches at future colliders and indirect global fits. Our findings demonstrate that a 3 TeV CLIC can improve the sensitivity to $ |V_{\ell N}|^2 $ by about two orders of magnitude compared with the projected reaches of future hadron colliders while remaining competitive with other CLIC search channels.

Hidden-charm pentaquark states with double strangeness, $$P_{css}$$ , have been predicted within the framework of unitary coupled-channel dynamics. In this work, we theoretically investigate the potential to observe these states in the decays $$\Lambda _b\rightarrow J/\psi \Xi ^-K^+$$ and $$\Xi _b\rightarrow J/\psi \Xi ^-\pi ^+$$ . In this framework, these pentaquark configurations couple strongly to the $$J/\psi \Xi $$ channel, as well as to other vector-baryon channels with the $$\bar{c} c s s n$$ flavor structure, making these decay modes promising for their observation through the corresponding invariant-mass distributions. Our analysis begins with the identification of the dominant weak decay mechanisms, followed by hadronization into meson-baryon channels, connected through flavor symmetry. Final-state interactions are then incorporated to dynamically generate the full amplitude, accounting for the formation of the pentaquark states. We compare our results with recent LHCb measurements of the $$J/\psi \Xi ^-$$ mass distribution and find that, given the predicted pentaquark width of about 10 MeV in this channel, the state is too narrow to be resolved with the current experimental resolution, but it would become visible with significantly improved mass precision.

Study of hidden-charm, doubly-strange pentaquarks in $$\Lambda _b\rightarrow J/\psi \Xi ^- K^+$$ and $$\Xi _b\rightarrow J/\psi \Xi ^- \pi ^+$$

The 2HDM+S is the singlet extension of the two-Higgs-doublet model (2HDM). The singlet field and its mixing with the 2HDM Higgs sector lead to new contributions to the electroweak precision observables, in particular, the oblique parameters. In this study, we performed a systematic investigation of the impacts of each mixing angle on the oblique parameters. We adopted the mixing angles and physical Higgs masses as our parameters, which allow a mapping when a specific symmetry structure of the Higgs potential and various theoretical considerations are taken into account. We identified five benchmark cases, where at most one mixing angle was nonzero, and analyzed the 95% C.L. allowed parameter space using the oblique parameters. In the alignment limit of the 2HDM, we find that, other than the usual mass relations of $m_H\sim m_{H^\pm}$ or $m_A\sim m_{H^\pm}$ , electroweak precision measurements also impose an upper limit on the neutral Higgs masses. In the cases with nonzero singlet mixing with the 2HDM Higgses $\textit{H}$ or $\textit{A}$, we find approximate mass relations of $c^2_{\alpha_{HS}} m_{H} + s^2_{\alpha_{HS}}m_{h_S} = m_{H^\pm}$ or $c^2_{\alpha_{AS}} m_{A} + s^2_{\alpha_{AS}}m_{A_S} = m_{H^\pm}$ . These relations are universal to the 2HDM+S models, with or without further symmetry assumption. We also studied the non-alignment limit of the 2HDM+S, which typically has tighter constraints on the masses and mixing angles. Finally, we examined the complementarity between the electroweak precision analyses and the Higgs coupling precision measurements.

Symmetry studies represent one of the most promising frontiers in particle physics research. This investigation focuses on exploring P and $\rm CP $ symmetries in the charm system through the measurement of asymmetry decay parameters in the three-body decay of $ \Xi_c^{+} $ . By incorporating electron and positron beam polarization effects and utilizing the helicity formalism, we characterize the decay of $ \Xi_c^{+} $ and its secondary hyperons through asymmetry decay parameters. The complete angular distribution formula for these decays is systematically derived. Our study evaluates the sensitivity of the asymmetry parameters for the $ \Xi_c^{+} \to \Xi^{-}\pi^{+}\pi^{+} $ decay channel under various data sample sizes and beam polarization scenarios. The findings establish a robust theoretical framework for future experimental studies at the Super Tau-Charm Facility, providing valuable insights for symmetry investigations in the charm sector.

Study of P and CP symmetries in ${ \boldsymbol\Xi^{\bf +}_{\boldsymbol c}\rightarrow \boldsymbol\Xi^-\boldsymbol\pi^+\boldsymbol\pi^+ }$ at electron-positron collider

In this article, the electroweak transition form factors of $$\Lambda _b\rightarrow \Lambda _c$$ and $$\Xi _b\rightarrow \Xi _c$$ are analyzed within the framework of three-point QCD sum rules. In phenomenological side, all possible couplings of interpolating current to hadronic states are considered. In QCD side, the perturbative part and the contributions of vacuum condensates up to dimension 8 are also included. With the estimated form factors, we study the decay widths and branching ratios of semileptonic decays $$\Lambda _b\rightarrow \Lambda _cl\bar{\nu }_l$$ and $$\Xi _b\rightarrow \Xi _cl\bar{\nu }_l$$ ( $$l=e,\mu $$ and $$\tau $$ ). Our results for the branching ratios of $$\Lambda _b\rightarrow \Lambda _cl\bar{\nu }_l$$ are comparable with experimental data and the results from other collaborations. In addition, our prediction for the branching ratio of $$\Xi _b\rightarrow \Xi _cl\bar{\nu }_l$$ can provide a valuable reference for future experimental measurements.

Analysis of the semileptonic decays $$\Lambda _b\rightarrow \Lambda _cl\bar{\nu }_l$$ and $$\Xi _b\rightarrow \Xi _cl\bar{\nu }_l$$ in QCD sum rules

The first measurement at midrapidity (|$\textit{y}$|$\textit{ <}$ 0$\textit{.}$5) of the production yield of the strange-charm baryons $${\Xi }_{\text{c}}^{+}$$ and $${\Xi }_{\text{c}}^{0}$$ as a function of transverse momentum ($\textit{p}$ ) in different charged-particle multiplicity classes in proton-proton collisions at $$\sqrt{s}=13$$ TeV with the ALICE experiment at the LHC is reported. The $${\Xi }_{\text{c}}^{+}$$ baryon is reconstructed via the $${\Xi }_{\text{c}}^{+}\to {\Xi }^{-}{\pi }^{+}{\pi }^{+}$$ decay channel in the range 4 $\textit{< p}$ $\textit{<}$ 12 GeV$\textit{/c}$, while the $${\Xi }_{\text{c}}^{0}$$ baryon is reconstructed via both the $${\Xi}_{\text{c}}^{0}\to {\Xi}^{-}{\pi }^{+}$$ and $${\Xi}_{\text{c}}^{0}\to {\Xi}^{-}{\text{e}}^{+}{\nu }_{\text{e}}$$ decay channels in the range 2 $\textit{< p}$ $\textit{<}$ 12 GeV$\textit{/c}$. The baryon-to-meson $$\left({\Xi}_{\text{c}}^{0,+}/{\text{D}}^{0}\right)$$ and the baryon-to-baryon $$\left({\Xi}_{\text{c}}^{0,+}/{\Lambda}_{\text{c}}^{+}\right)$$ production yield ratios show no significant dependence on multiplicity. In addition, the observed yield ratios are not described by theoretical predictions that model charm-quark fragmentation based on measurements at e e and e p colliders, indicating differences in the charm-baryon production mechanism in pp collisions. A comparison with different event generators and tunings, including different modelling of the hadronisation process, is also discussed. Moreover, the branching-fraction ratio of $${\text{BR}}\left({\Xi}_{\text{c}}^{0}\to {\Xi }^{-}{\text{e}}^{+}{\nu }_{\text{e}}\right)/{\text{BR}}\left({\Xi}_{\text{c}}^{0}\to {\Xi }^{-}{\pi }^{+}\right)$$ is measured as 0.825 ± 0.094 (stat.) ± 0.081 (syst.). This value supersedes the previous ALICE measurement, improving the statistical precision by a factor of 1.6.

Multiplicity dependence of $${\Xi }_{\text{c}}^{+}$$ and $${\Xi }_{\text{c}}^{0}$$ production in pp collisions at $$\sqrt{s}=13$$ TeV

Using $\textit{e}$ $\textit{e}$ collision data corresponding to a total integrated luminosity of 20 fb collected with the BESIII detector at the BEPCII collider, we present a measurement of the Born cross section for the process $$ {e}^{+}{e}^{-}\to p{K}^{-}{K}^{-}{\overline{\Xi}}^{+} $$ at 39 center-of-mass energies between 3.5 and 4.9 GeV with a partial reconstruction technique. By performing a fit to the dressed cross section of $$ {e}^{+}{e}^{-}\to p{K}^{-}{K}^{-}{\overline{\Xi}}^{+} $$ with a power law function for continuum production and one resonance at a time for the $\textit{ψ}$(3770), $\textit{ψ}$(4040), $\textit{ψ}$(4160), $\textit{ψ}$(4230), $\textit{ψ}$(4360), $\textit{ψ}$(4415) or $\textit{ψ}$(4660), respectively, the upper limits for the product of partial electronic width and branching fraction into the final state $$ p{K}^{-}{K}^{-}{\overline{\Xi}}^{+} $$ for these resonances are determined at the 90% confidence level.
